Thank you for putting this this video up, it was incredibly helpful for pointing me in the right direction for information regarding Tohono O'odham myth and cosmology. There seems to be a lot of question surrounding what I'itol and the Man in the Maze story are meant to represent in what little I've found on the topic thus far, which to some extent makes sense because the maze is equated to life so there would naturally be a lot of conflicting views- but I wanted to make sure that any information I later present in class focuses on the beliefs of the actual O'odham culture more so than any outsider interpretations of the maze's symbolism. Again, thank you so much for making this information readily available.
