The origins of the tune and text for this hymn are unknown. The story is that is was sung by Sicilian fishermen when they returned from the day's work. This version includes tenor and baritone duets followed by the choir repeating the phrases. The tenor soloist is Stephen Schmall and the baritone soloist is John Jagoe. Conducted by Robert Vickery at high mass on January 1, 1997, at the Church of the Holy Childhood.
