This Is my husband's favorite song. He always asked me to play this for him almost every day. I must say Larry Ford is not only a singer chosen by God. What makes his music so special is the anointing God has placed on his life. He blesses my soul.
We played this song at Mothers Funeral. She listened to this every morning before going to work. She had many of the Gaither Video's and CD's.They encouraged our whole Family.
I cant count how many times I have watched this video, but each time I feel compelled to leave a comment; If your facing lifes storms, trials, and tribulations, if you just feel that life and the world in general have left you broken and downhearted, if you feel these things and yet dont believe in God. I encouraged you to listen to this song, I promise it will lift you up, and God willing lead you to Jesus Christ.
Had the privilege of meeting Larry before a Gaither Homecoming concert in Birmingham many years ago. Perhaps the most humble man I have ever met, even to this day.
Have you ever listened to these presentations on this channel? Please check this link below. Be blessed! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BDDiLE8zNVw.html
Im on tour with Larry right now in Canada and I can tell you he lives what he sings. Hes the real deal, on stage and off stage. Praise God for his ministry. Thanks for uploading this Blessings alancurtistripp
What a Saviour! Larry is a messenger singing out the message - Reminding us the great COST that was paid on the CROSS by our SAVIOUR. His heart was broken, His hands nail-scarred, his side-riven and His life-blood. ALL for us! How would we respond to such LOVE! I would accept it and take it as my own from the Lord.
O Lord Jesus! Thank you for taking my place on Calvary. I should have died hopelessly but you left heaven to search for a sinner like me. How could I repay You, Lord? I love this song. It touches even to the innermost part of my soul. O I love you Lord!
Jeffrey Harris Hi Jeffrey! Thanks for your kind comment! God's children are supposed to be humble, don't they? The giraffes should haven't been saved during the Noah's flood if they didn't bend their knees entering the ark. God bless you my friend!
Iv'e seen Larry often in the choir, this is the first time l've heard him sing solo n what a voice....absolutely amazing, he should be singing solo more often. ❤
Today I want to share with VOP Family my personal testimony about this great song, I was in my job; own operator semi truck driver. I am living in the Republic of Panama. Most of my driving is grom Panama City to Colon City wich are the main cities along the Panama canal. That morning after a long night of work, I was watchin this video in bed, I was using a cell phone, The next thin I felt in forehead was 45mm gun, two boys got in my truck, The parking lot was full of trucks no body noticed I was being assulted, I that moment in my came in my mind my wife if I die She would be so sad telling my four kids that daddy has been killed. But even they took away my cell my cell phone the vedio kept playin I can remember just "Oh what a Savior oh my redeemer his heart was broken for even me" That day my life was change I was not ready to die. I love more Jesus then ever before. They took what they wanted and took of. The worst thing the of the boy was shanking no more then a foot away from me. I wat to give thanks to VOP fir there wanderfull I sure if things could have gone wrong that day, I had my hope in That Savior Jesus Christ . wainting for his return.
There are no superlatives adequate enough to describe Larry Ford's rendition of this song. Name any superstar singer past or present, and not one of them could hold a handle to this guy. His purity of tone, the masterful control he has over his voice, his incredible lung power (you don't even see him take a deep breath before a long and powerful phrase), his diction, his perfect pitch right on the note, the feelings he arouses in his audience -- even the way he sings the last note and then adds vibrato at the end -- all prove what a REAL singer is. I am not even sure Larry is a mere mortal; he might well be an angel from heaven's choir. Anybody who has not seen and heard Larry Ford is missing one of life's great experiences!
Larry Ford was one of a kind. I really miss hearing him but I know that The Lord is in control and needed to bring Larry home. I still love listening to him via his many cd's. Also seeing and listening to him on the many, many Gaither videos blesses my soul. Thank you Jesus for Larry Ford.
What a blessing this song is to the hearts of God's children...the Creator certainly gave this brother a set of pipes....David Phelps comes to mind and maybe others....but what a joy to hear this brother sing!
+JB Miller Have you heard Brian Free and Assurance sing this? I've liked Larry Ford since he sang with the Dixie Echoes in the '60's. He's a wonderful Irish tenor.
I had to leave another comment on this just fabulous singer! I listen to this constantly, I can't get enough of this song. I hope to see Larry Ford in Loveland, Colorado in September of this year. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your uploading this.
What can one say, what can be said of this performance that hasnt already been said, if Mr Fords rendition of this song doesnt move your heart to accept Jesus Christ, then I dont know what will.
