@@BH-ui5eb What a strange formula. If you use that idea, then I don't like any of the men's Northern Hemisphere teams because they get slammed by the Southern Hemisphere teams every time.
Love that you guys are doing videos like this for the woman alongside the mens team ones. The girls actually seem to have a lot more fun playing, maybe that lack of enjoyment is hindering the mens team
Another insightful & enjoyable Inside Line from the Red Roses. Their respective personalities shine through & my admiration for them tinge with some English pride will keep me watching their games.
KDM was a player who opened my eyes to what women’s rugby could become.....now it’s pretty much there at some levels. Still a bit short of depth but as players start younger more will come through with more experience
They're not hating on trans women ffs. They're drawing a line in professional rugby so that biological women are safe. In the men's game they're doing so much to prevent brain damage with red cards for unmitigated head contact and head injury assessments. They're concerned about the safety of the players. I wonder if you also think they're 'hating' on trans men? I'd be VERY interested to see what would happen if a trans man tried to play international rugby against a top men's team. It's about safety, rugby is a dangerous sport and they're not going to make it more dangerous for a minuscule % of the population. Maybe one day there will be a trans rugby tournament.
Having a different opinion on trans issues is not 'hating'. It's the difference between wanting immigration restrictions and beating up black people. There are some things that people have to put up with. I have to put up with the fact that I had to give up competitive rugby at university because I have haemophilia. For years, I couldn't even watch rugby on the telly. One thing trans women have to put up with is that they are going to be restricted in what they can and cannot do. I see no reason why women should have to accept that they have to compete in sports with trans women. If they do accept it, fine, I'm not going to say a dicky bird about it. But if they don't accept it, then I don't see any other practical way around it than to tell the trans women that - like me because of haemophilia - they can't compete in their chosen sport.
@@BenjWarrant EXACTLY. I find it baffling that some people like Jordan think the right for a minority to compete trumps the right that the majority have to safety in one of the most dangerous contact sports in the world. I didn't have a medical reason for no longer being able to play for my rugby club, but I had to make a career-based decision to look after my hands. I know the pain of not being able to compete at a higher standard because life gets in the way, but I do not think trans athletes have a place in test-level rugby. Can you imagine what would happen if a trans man came up against players like Itoje/Underhill/Furlong/even De Klerk?!
