All I want to know is how did you unplug an O2 sensor connector plastic connector on the front inlet O2 sensor on a 2000 crown Victoria the plug is up on the back of the engine I cannot reach it from the bottom my hand won't fit I can't get it from the top how do I get to that connector to unplug it to change the O2 sensor please help me

I have a 2000 Chevrolet 3500 withe 7.4 l engine my bank to upstream oxygen sensor plug burned off burned off I had an exhaust leak I didn't know it was as close to the wiring as it was and it melted the plug off The replacement plug that I have has all white wires with no color code on them I desperately need some direction as how to rewire this thing the and the end of the wires for the plug plugs into the 02 sensor itself are exposed I need some direction as to what voltage I should find on what color wires any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
Hi I have a pcm for your standard 5.3 but my wiring harness is from a 6.0 with the oddball o2 sensor. Do you know which pins on the pcm I can swap the wires to so that I can just split in your standard o2 connector?
Brandon you will need to use the 6.0 O2 sensors or rewire the harness per 5.3 diagrams. Unfortunately, this procedure is it something that can be easily explained!
@@bpautomotivellc I need to figure out how to open the harness side of my 4 pin O2 sensor so I can rewire the connections better after trimming off the bad ends. Nobody has a vid showing if it can be done or if the wires need to be cut and spliced into a new connector. Impala 2004 Ls. O2 sensor down from the windshield.
