Spent a day eating out in Oakland Chinatown. Started the day off with some Vietnamese noodles and ended it at my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay area for some peking duck and the BEST lamb ribs!

Ofc it might help their careers shoot up a bit because they are in his videos but I think that's not an intentional thing he does and I don't think they want that clout anyway otherwise Mikey would have their ig in his description. I personally feel he just wants someone who likes to eat as much as he does AND also is comfortable being on the camera. He barely ever has women on his videos anyway.

Vien Huong is the best spot in Oakland to get noodles. It is my go to spot for noodles in Oakland. I grew up on it and it is so so good. Im so glad to see you tried it!!!

I had a curiosity and searched up Vien Huong, and lo and behold I find myself here. That place is my top as nostalgic comfort food and im glad they survived 2022. I haven't eaten anywhere else that tastes like it, and I'm super happy to see some Oakland Chinatown shoutout.

I saw OTGW is trying to revive itself. While I wish them all the best, the channel ain’t the same without you Mikey! It’s sad how that chapter ended. I’ve gone through a very tough falling out with a best friend as well so I know how that goes. But the silver lining is it opened the door to all your foodie success. I just watched this... I’ve been watching your channel for years and somehow forgot you started in the Bay Area... I remember you inspired me with exploring Chinese food here starting from QQ noodle. I was so excited this episode because I just lived in Oakland for a while and then had a great surprise cuz I just moved to San Mateo...it’s so funny how it matched with this video, I’m happy to take some more great restaurant tips from you 🙂

Yes Mike you when to my childhood breakfast noodles (1st noodle place in the video) place , my family eat there every Saturday before we bought groceries for the week. This was back in the late 80’s , that place is still there so you know the food has to be 😌 good !
