Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf: BCDC votes YES on Howard Terminal 

Thank you Brodie for steaming this today ! Oakland needs this stadium .

I had my doubts about Mayor Schaaf in the beginning, but she has stepped up as this this project has inched its way to becoming a reality. She deserves a lot of credit for bringing this to the point that it is. I'm confident she will navigate this through the remainder hurdles at the City level. It's time to stop complaining about how the team is playing and about the owners and management "destroying" the team. Disgruntled fans have had their say for over three months, and the complaints have gotten tediously dull. This final push is the most significant A's development in decades and certainly is the thing to be cheering on until it's a done deal. And Brodie, in your future updates, please remind everyone what the A's have spent thus far to bring us to where we are. Those fans who continue to call the owner cheap need to know how much has been invested in this project thus far.
