@@aimfuldrifter Being the best band is not necessarily synonymous to having the best technical skill or talent, rather one that captivated the most people regardless of their demographic. You could argue that with bland pop stars but oasis doesnt just appeal to one or three set of audience. So yes, oasis were the best at that short period
