This song was so incredibly important at a time where most popular rock was about not wanting to live and experiencing pain. Oasis said enough of all the depressing garbage. Let’s inspire life. And this one of the reasons why I love them so much.
Similar sentiments to why I think demand for their comeback tour has been crazy. So many people don’t want to hear modern love songs and heartbreak - they want to go to a gig and have funnest night of their lives. They want the headline act to blow the roof off. And it’s going to happen.
To be fair the 90's brought back the 60s I was one of the 90's generation I was 18 in 1990 what a decade can't really remember much . But anyway what I'm saying kids need to make there own 60s or 90's
My favourite Oasis song and one of the first Noel wrote before they met Alan McGee & signed to Creation records. The song is actually about himself & Liam believe it or not. The "Lately I don't really wanna know how your garden grows" was a nod to his Mum . At 4:24 (on this video) listen to that guitar break , lifted from "Stairway to Heaven"! Don't get the meanings of songs confused with the videos btw . Yeah the video features a plethora of dead rockstars which makes perfect sense for a video in context with the sentiment of "Live Forever" but first & foremost , musicians & songwriters aren't actors or film directors and just go along with whatever is suggested as the video is the least important to someone creating music , unless they're actually writing a film score. Cheers , stay safe ✌️😉🎸🏴
Wrote about two brothers who can be alone and see things they will only see. Maybe the should listen to this, kiss and make up and give us some stadium gigs!!!!!cmon !
