I honestly thought I was the only black woman in the US who listens to Oasis on purpose. I say it like that because they're my number one favorite band, and have been for 24 years, ever since I first heard them in 1996. You reacting to them means a lot to me because I have absolutely no one to listen to them with. Thank you.
@Matt B I'll check them out. Oasis is great music, you're right. I proudly tell people Oasis is my favorite band, but I don't say anything else after that. Where I live, people only like regurgitated music, so I'm always the only one to like them. 😭
Oasis has been my fav band ever since i was a young teenager at the library in 2004 and borrowed the music DVD called There and then. I was placed in a foster home at the country side and did not have much to do, internet was taken away from me. So i borrowed the dvd and watched Maine road, earls court and Gmex live. I played the dvd and watched it over and over and has been blessed ever since by Oasis. It helped me then and still does. Oasis live forever!
Being Scottish I was able to travel the UK seeing my fav band from Loch Lomond to Birmingham still only managed five concerts, they were sold out in minutes, still class
@@broganmaxwell2324 it's amazing you were able to see them 5 times! I've only seen them once here, a year before they broke up. Noel told us we sounded like Australians singing DLBIA at him😂
@@janayawilliams2342 Loch Lomond was my first up in Scotland luckily, they were playing on the Saturday and I was constantly on the phone with friends all doing the same trying to get tickets after an hour or so I got through and managed to get four tickets getting Willy Wonka tickets would have been easier lol.Little did I know at the time but sat tickets sold out in an hour or so.We had actually bought tickets for Sun after Oasis announce they would play the whole weekend because of demand, obviously we didn't care as long as we seen them,Day consisted of Bootleg Beatles,Cast,Ocean Colour Scene and Black Grape then Oasis, stunning especially Champagne Supernova in the dark with all the lighters out, even think Patsy was there for Liam.Ah memories!!!! P
This song is just a master peice. The whole structure of the song has sad parts in the verse uncertainty in the choruses and at 5.24 breaks into a beautiful glimmer of hope. Incredible I will take this song to my grave along with my British pride to have known such a incredible band in my lifetime.
Be Here Now. My favourite Oasis album of them all. Unpopular opinion, but I don't care. Each song has its poetic epicness, and has the touch of the sonic beauty that is Oasis.
@@LUFC123 Beatles were only 2nd best outa Liverpool ! You forgetting Echo and the Bunnymen ? Someone once asked John Lennon ' Is Ringo Starr the best drummer in the world?' Lennon replied 'He's not even the best drummer in the Beatles ' LOL
To quote you, “be there for me, then be against me?” It helps to know the guitarist/songwriter and the lead singer are brothers, who had one of the most public sibling rivalry feuds of the 90s. I always took the song as a message that however pissed you might be at a sibling. there’s a bond that you can’t shake.
One of the greatest bands to emerge in the 90's no doubt, but in my opinion, one the greatest albums of the 90's was the Argentine band Fabulosos Cadillac's record 'Fabulosos Calavera.'
This song makes me emotional; because I lost both my Maternal grandparents (to Coronavirus in Late January 2021) they died a week apart. Grandfather Leslie on 21st January aged 92; and Grandma Irene on 28th January aged 94. I miss you so much Nanna and Grandpa. 😢😢
I was so lucky to met Liam year 2000 here in Kristiansand. Met him at a disco, the day before he was playing at the Quart Festival. 💖❤❤😘😘 muy simpatico y muy amoroso ❤😘 😘
i love this. watching a true women listening to a song and then listening to coments. the words are so prefound they could apply to a lot of situations. my step son had two children with a girl and they were both alcholics. He was inteligent and she wasnt. the song reminds me of the way he spoke to her when they were both drunk,( or on their way to being drunk) "whats the matter with you, sing me something new" He always wanted to find what they had when they first met. so the the song reminds me of his feelings towards her and the fact he loved her. ( Now he is dead, me and his mother are taking care of the children and their mother is carrying on being a selfish indvdual not worthy of his thoughts. But as i stated from the start , big up to india reacts
For me this is about not judging people and also arguing with the people you love because no one knows what can happen in the next minute the next hour coz anything can happen and if your last interaction with someone you love is the last you can't go back and undo what was said
New to your channel, and I really like your name. India is no doubt one of the world's most fascinating countries and I'm sure you're just as unique. Stand By Me was one of the first tracks I listened to from Oasis as 'Be Here Now' was the only proper album I ever bought from the group.
The song and video is saying don't judge people the lad who spits at the start of the video is to make you think he's a thug turns out he's only thought is to get the kid out of trouble.. and the second point is the black haired girl dies during the robbery and she's looking down on herself dead. Weird but wonderful
Music is not limited to you or others that think like you music is made and distributed throughout the world for who to discover and listen and learn from and im sure that the makers of such music will 100% agree. Music brings people together but this seems like you have a problem knowing that people of a different NATIONALITY are doing a review on music you think the hat dose not fit so should not wear it. Basically your just racist. From Manchester England the home of Oasis.
reviewmaster 44 shut up ya muppet he's not being racist. He's simply saying the truth, he doesn't say anything prejudice or discriminatory to her . He never said this person isn't allowed to listen to this music
@@dompendleton_3255 I'm seeing a lot of this too! It does seem random. I can only assume there are lot of black americans doing reactions on RU-vid. LostInVegas is a good channel. Good guys
One of their best love watching 1st reaction videos as it remind me of when I first heard the song...the 30 dislikes are obviously blur fans 😂greatest british band of my generation
Red Oz oasis sound nothing like the Beatles. There’s the same instrument used in go let it out as strawberry fields forever and that’s about where the similarities stop. Beatles were soft rock and pop, Oasis were full on rock. Get off the crack
90s British Brit pop ruled the world 🌎 and I was their 👍 seen oasis 3 times in my life Knebworth 125.000 people they played to and Manchester main road football stadium ( soccer ) 😉 Noel Gallagher is probley one of the greatest song writers- his band now are the high flying birds 👌 You need to check some more 90s bands out - Blur Shed seven Sleeper Garage Stereophonic Dub star Lush Echo belly Stone Roses Charlatans Happy Mondays Inspriral carpets Pulp So many more look up British 90s bands 👍
You look very pretty with your hair like that. XOXO Brandi Modrak XOXO means hugs and Kisses. After almost 22years with my man I still love, and give him hugs and Kisses everyday. I hope you find that it's wonderful. XOXO.
That are reasons why its so beloved by the fans. Wall of sound. The vibe of party all night long... ...dont say its overproduced too much this and that and add its your fav😀 thats a funny statement
It’s a song about Hope just ask Noel Gallagher watch n see wat was going on when he wrote it n where he’s from you maybe want to listen to the actual artist who wrote the bloody song mate lol much love
Appreciate the reaction, but put a little more emphasis on the sounds being created. It's mostly just the meaning behind the lyrics. Its not an esay, its a melody.
