@@BarJazzik at his later years in oasis, he couldn't sing the high notes, or finish the lyrics, because he lost his voice and at this point of time, he fucked his voice by screaming into the mic
Sad to see the band sound in this state. Liams voice was shot, the band was finished im one of few oasis fans that is glad the band is done. I also hope they never reform, I saw them 16 times over the years and 2009 Heaton park was shocking. It will never be What it was. Great to see Liams solo success though
Oasis was famous because Liam is just a friggin real front man. Even if his voice sucks half the time, he gives his all, he doesn't really care and you can't help but admire the passion. Jagger can't sing either but people always respect the passion.
Dumping Tony was for the best, even after reading his book I respect him but clearly an inferior drummer to Alan White. However I agree, after Bonehead and Guigsy left the entire sound changed ... in a not so good way. As soon as Noel had to share songwriting duties, even though at the time he claimed it was helpful, years later he says 'I couldn't imagine going into the studio and running ideas by people' - the reality is he wanted to be in charge, not share power.
Right?! With Gem making it possible for Noel not to have to do all the leads, the tunes suddenly sound so much more like the album versions! Morning Glory, Slide Away, & The Masterplan come to mind. Shame, Bonehead only ever really played power chords & barr chords.
@@yes-wo7qn Well... I go back & forth on that. Technically, as musicians, yes. 110% Especially Sharrock's energy on the drums, man! But charisma-wise, nothing will ever be better than Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Guigsy, & Whitey. That's who played all them legendary shows, beginning w/the two nights @ Earl's Court & ending at Knebworth.
@@matthewrider5906 I think they had more charisma also because they had better albums back then. Andy & gem joined when the band wasn't getting the success those first two albums got
ANOTHER OUTSTANDINGLY MARVELLOUS PERFORMANCE FROM THE VERY CREATIVE GALLAGHER.BROTHERS, NOEL AND LIAM ----THEIR MUSIC AND SONGS WILL BE PLAYED AND SUNG THROUGH THE AGES. LOVE ❤️ EVELYN O'CONNOR
Having a weird voice was always one of Liam's strong points, so I don't have a problem with it getting huskier over time or anything. Just wish I could hear him over the crowd more easily, but I hope they got their gin and tonic.
@@badghost353 Tá certo que ele tem presença de palco forte,e também encaixa muito bem as músicas, mas dizer que ele é outro nível comparado ao noel? Ao tb não
@@S3BeXuS reading 2021 sounds mental compared to this, watched him live at the festival and I think there's a filter on his voice, in real life he definitely sounds more 2002 like with the rasp which I love so much and sounds muuuuuuuch much better in real life
Noel Left because he hated Liam and that's why even though his voice is good now, Oasis isn't getting back together. Liam's voice was worse in 2006 but that didn't bother noel
This is a pretty shit version, the tempo is so pedestrian. The best version of this song for me is on ‘There and Then’ from Earls Court, the drumming from Alan White is fucking pounding and the bass is incredible. Chris Sharrock is a great drummer don’t get me wrong, but this doesn’t sound great.
It's better than Alan, but no one could get it as good as Tony and there are very specific technical reasons for this - namely that most drummers use the Moeler technique which puts an accent on the first and third beat of every four hi-hat beats whereas because Tony didn't know anything about technique he just accented every hi-hat beat (he sort of bobbed up and down with his body too which accentuated each beat even more) and this is why I think he had a lot more punch when he played 'Supersonic' and other tunes.
If you squint just right, Sharrock looks like Whitey, just aged a bit like the rest of the gang. Can't say that for Gem & Andy/Bonehead & Guigsy, though 😉
Spot on mate, loved it all early days, def mab on release, 94 i think, i just think they peaked way to quickly, not that its a fault of the band, but i saw enough performances that just didnt match the hype/media attention, 1st album the best.
