This recipe for Oatmeal Banana Brownies is vegan and gluten-free and is a healthier alternative to the regular brownies. Nevertheless, it is really delicious and moist.

Ingredients for Oatmeal Banana Brownies:
Pre-heat the oven at 180⁰C/350⁰F
3 tbsp Powdered Flax seeds + ½ cup water (you may replace flax seed slurry with half a cup of apple sauce, or yogurt, or cream, 2 eggs)
3 ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ coconut oil (or any other cooking oil/ butter/ ghee)
¾ to 1 ½ cup sweetener: stevia or (sugar/brown sugar/honey/maple syrup/coconut sugar/pasted dates)
1 ¾ cup plain rolled oats (or instant or steel-cut oats)
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp (1 pinch) salt
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp instant coffee powder (optional)
¼ cup milk to loosen the batter (optional)
Bake at 180⁰C/350⁰F for 40min.
Note: for fudgy brownies, use 1 ¼ cup oats (instead of 1 ¾ cup) and add ½ cup melted dark chocolate, and you may throw in some chocochips as well.
