It seems like forever we've heard from an intelligent, articulate, and well-spoken man in politics. It seems Donald Trump has dumbed down so many people in this country that we haven't recovered from him, and there's not many intelligent conversations taking place. Things are just not the same since Obama was in office. This was refreshing to watch.

@@tedfort1698Republicans may have changed but I think most of the country feels Democrats have changed more. Obama really wasn’t about gay marriage initially. Now the democrats have taken social issues way too far.
@@PinkFZeppelin I think a lot of it has to do with matching one upsmanship. The GOP kept getting more and more extreme and has made it a priority to take away a ton of our rights. I can truly say I never thought I'd see a party in this country running on anti-Democracy, but here we are. So I think any perceived escalation from the left is an attempt to meet somewhere vaguely centered.
It behooves me that people addressed President Obama as Obama when he was President as they also addressed President Biden as Biden but the very one that has been lest Presidential is still addressed as President this is absurd.
I've always disagreed when people say: "No one is above the law, not even presidents." Presidents naturally should be, need to be, held to the highest standards. Therefore: No one is above the law, *_e s p e c i a l l y_* not presidents. That, at least, is how it *_should_* be.

It’s childlike to think just because someone’s president they’re infallible or immune to justice. By the time a person graduates elementary school, that should be firmly established in their mind. Trump’s followers just never graduated mentally. They’re all still grade schoolers in geriatric bodies.
