This was the first speech of his I ever heard and it still gives me goosebumps. This man will be the best president this country has seen at least in my lifetime... maybe ever !
Wow. As long as I've been watching and listening to him, I still get goose bumps listening to this speech. Great job putting this together. It should run as a campaign ad.
This is a well put together video. I give this 5 stars, it gave me the chills as I watched it. That man Obama is good. He feels genuine. America, make the right choice, Vote Obama for President, you may not get another politican like him.
Wow this guy is amazing. Finally a chance to bring our nation together rather than tear it apart. This is the best Presidential candidate since Robert Kennedy! Obama '08
My fellow Americans, how can you listen to this man and not want him to be your President? I am 45 years old and have spent my life distrusting all politicians, sometimes hearing enough to choose one or the other. But I wondered when if ever the voice of a generation might emerge. HE HAS. His name is Senator Barack Obama.
He has the same passion and compassion as Kennedy. & his wife has such grace intelligence, just like Jackie! What a blessing it would be to have such a dignified and gracious couple back in the White House... IMAGINE - there is still hope for us!
Hi, I am from Germany. Barack Obama is the most competent American politician I have ever heard of. His ideas are unique, new and inspiring. Obama as President of the United States would be great for the US and for the rest of the world.
We can't afford to continue the same path that McCain wants to take us. I am a combat veteran who served in the Iraq War, and we need a man that will lead us to the right path to peace and prosperity.
Hi, I was born in Poland and now living in Germany. I am studying politics and economic history and I am really interested in this election. I think, Barack Obama is the most competent American politician I have ever heard of. He is so inspiring and his ideas and his way of doing things really can make America and the world a better place to be. Greetings.
Barack Obama doesn't only have good, new ideas, but his speeches are actually FUN to listen and watch, he is awesome, and deserves to win the election, and if he does, our country will be reputable again. GO BARACK OBAMA!
I went to buy the new Rolling Stone Mag. with Obama on the cover at a 7-11. A middle-eastern young man about my age got all happy and said "Barack Obama" with a smile. He asked if I thought he'd win? I said,"I Hope." He looked at me puzzled and asked,"are you Mexican-American, I thought they didn't really support Obama?" "I am, there's many like me who have heard his words & inspired us. Not just as Mexican-Americans but as human beings. We're all one." We both smiled.
Barack Obama has a unifying quality that has been unparalleled for centuries...and the more people see THEMSELVES in him, the more they believe he will sincerely work toward helping us all achieve "one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." The time is now. -- OBAMA '08
I'm in last teen years and I understand why we need to pay attention when we're young. The nation has fell steeply during a time in our life we're just going to school and we all steady trying to make it in the struggle. Excuse me for staying above your influence, but Obama said it best "a job is not just about the paycheck"...he faced a myriad of crises during his first four years b/c of previous President's decisions. There will be crises w/every Presidency. But he talking ideas. Romney learn.
The Iowa caucus went so well, I was actually more excited for it the Christmas. I always did believe he could go all the way, but it's nice to know the nation is learning the truth too. Obama 08 and 12!
I am not american, not even livin in the US. But let me tell you people, this man will make America a respectul again and model country for the rest of the world again. Dont be afraid to vote him. No person can be worst that your current president Bush.
We owe it to ourselves, to those who will come after us, & to the entire world to get this right! We've got to elect the person who can lead us into a better future, who can help us become a stronger country, and get us to invest in one another. Barack Obama is that person..b/c of his sincerity, strength, brilliance, & willingness to bring about real change. Please caucus for him & please vote for him!
Oregon hasn't been this excited and hopeful since 1968! it's looong over due! Thank you for being YOU Mr Obama. Thank YOU for being there for US. OBAMA '08!
I am not an American but for the next 8 years I want to be an American if Obama becomes the president. American I am very jealous because you guys have a great man, a great man...
Barack Obama excites and inspires like no other. Imagine the headlines that will reverberate across this globe when he is announced to be the democratic nominee for president of the United States of America. Lets change America for the better. Lets light a fire. Lets change the world! OBAMA 'O8!
I cannot wait to call Mr. Obama my president. I get such a positive feel listening to him and so much hope for my future and the future of my fellow Americans. Congrats Mr. Obama on your first caucus win!
Yes he is a very good speaker, on the teleprompter, go check out him trying to speak without a piece of paper or a screen in front of him telling him what to say.
I think Mr. Obama is one of the most charismatic Presidents, yes i think he will win, i ever saw saw. Not only in America, in all Countries. Well im from Germany, so its not my buisness at all, and i dont know about his political programm but one thing is for sure, i have a good feeling when i watch and listen to him. Go America vote for a good man, you have something to repare for the last one.
I can remember how John Kennedy made us feel good about ourselves and our country. I though there would never be another person who could make us feel that way again until Barack Obama. Suddenly the magic of hope is back.
Politics is a process...the process of shaping, influencing, and deciding how limited resources will be best allocated and utilized so that each of us can see OURselves, OUR roles, OUR contributions to this process for the well being of our nation.
I think he recognizes that politically we may have different views but that doesn't mean we can't still come together as a country and work together for the overall betterment of the nation.
Obama feels like a candidate out of the 60s. He harkens back to the optimism, belief in change, and sense of social purpose that seemed dead and buried with JFK, RFK and MLK.
My voice can change the world? Thanks to my "benevolent" family ct judge, MY voice can't even change my son's life except when I'm ALLOWED to call him, Tues & Thurs from 7:30 to 8:00, and when I'm ALLOWED to see him, every other weekend. Obama, fix families by fighting INVOLUNTARY Fatherlessness!
He makes me believe in a better future, believe in a way of politics that works for me, not just for the interest groups or their own selfish gains, I feel that he truly wants the best for the American people, and that is inspiring. OBAMA 08!
Frooty, his point is that there is much of each of us in the other. That these divisions between Red and Blue are merely to divide. We've spent these last four years completely divided. Its only after Bush's incompetency and Cheney's malevolence - something we saw quite clearly, but our fellow Republican citizens had to learn the hard way - that we are starting to see a united call for change.
Dennis Kucinich needs to be heard! Even if you don't change your vote, its imperative that you hear his message for yourself! The Media isn't going to share it with you! It's up to the people to spread the word. If we really want the Change thats in our HEarts I suggest we change our vote. I am.
Whole World Love You Obama! You are our last hope and only hope. Whole world is watching elections and praying for you. You are leader that world is waiting for so long! It feels like in old times in my country when whole willage is contributing to send one boy in city. Everybody is helping and giving and proud of their boy who is going to make it and represent them and never forget those people. We are sending you Obama to the world! America is proud.
I must say, his speeches are more akin to that of MLK than to the Head of State. I rarely see him talking about policy. He says one voice can change a room- yet many of his voting records (from reading NYT) show that he often didn't vote on controversial or tough divided decisions. He is charismatic, but that's not enough for a president.
Some people may think he's too "Green" to be president, I think it's time we had someone who hasn't been brainwashed by politics. I personally think he's got a lot of good things to say, and while I don't expect him to be able to pull through on all his promises, I expect him to give it one helluva try. You have my vote, Senator Obama. We need fresh ideas and fresh blood in the white house, and I truly believe you are just that.
