Didn't agree with everything he did, but I really like President Obama. Always so gracious and respectful. He was a good President. His heart always seems to be in the right place. Having studied Obama and US presidents for years, I have a rather unique opinion as to why he has a significant number people who hate or distrust him. You may need to stretch your brain to see my reasoning..... I have concluded that Obama is too smart, too articulate and has too much integrity to be readily accepted by the large majority of people. How can that be so, you ask? Think about it..... what makes one person "like" another? For most people, we look for familiar qualities. If someone has qualities very similar to ours, there's immediate trust established. (Think about the MAGA's and DJT- we often wonder why the MAGA's like DJT so much. Now you know!) Obama is NOT "similar" to almost anyone. Much smarter, much better with words. Just give it some thought.

I miss the days that we can make fun of a president's suit or his pants or his even his ears. I miss the days a president could take a roast and give back on the roast with mic drops. I have always supported Republican Party until Trump, and now no more. but Obama is one of my favorite President. The case in point with blanket continued student loan deferment and talk of student loan forgiving without taking into account the student ability to pay and the fact we now have the lowest unemployment rate for over 40 years. Yeah everyone has a 6k deductible now and health insurance costs 1k per month. Prior to aca if you had health insurance it was 300 a month and your deductible was your co pay. So much better. And those who didn't have health insurance got taxed so they lost the money either way, great policy isn't it. That's why that part was removed. And oh yeah, insurance companies now make hand over fist. So their life is so much better.
