Awesome video! I really appreciate that you did this vid! I just got a 2004 Monster (1000s), and hopefully your videos give me that guidance I need for my mods!!! Again, gracias!!!
Wanting to wire in Led's for my front indicators as well on my 08' Ducati Monster. I have a integrated led taillight with a built in resistor. I noticed you didnt wire in a resistor for the front led indicators, just wondering why they dont hyperflash? And if I will need to install resistors on my setup?
I just installed these same blinkers on a Monster S2R 800 and they hyperflash for a few seconds after turning the key, and then start blinking normally. If you turn the bike off and on, you have to wait a few seconds again for it to blink normally. Hope this is OK lol
Hello there! I’m about to buy the same blinkers for my Ducati Monster. I’m just wondering which one you have, there is a 6v and 12v version of these blinkers. So which is best for the Ducati? Thank you!
Hi. From my experience, I've never seen these in 6vdc, just 12vdc. There is a resistor bank across each indicator. They might work on 6vdc, but would probably be dim. That being said. These are really, really nice indicators.... Perhaps the most handsome/proud looking available. You gotta touch/feel/see them... quality
No diodes or LED flasher units? I have issue with this on the 2002 600. Flasher unit emits a solid beep upon engaging the right indicator front burning on solid without blinking rear inactive. Left indicators both work but flash rapidly...
You'll need an electronic flasher-relay. The bi-metal flasher-relay sees an open circuit. (Or place a resistor (8ohm) across the wires on wack indicator). Now - I've had these indicators since 2007. Got 3 bikes with them BRILLIANT!!!! And, Oberon, UK, support their product. Fantastic company.
+mitsos_fs my rear light came with a harness with the resistor prebuilt into it. So i'm not sure exactly what kind of resistor it was. www.ducatimonstertailchop.com/ducati-monster-tail-chop-classic/ducati-monster-integrated-tail-light/
I have the same Ducati but when I changed the blinkers they flash all 4 together ! Any idea why? The ones that are supposed to flash are brighter though.....
@@ducatinyc i put two resistors in parallel to the back lights and they work.... Fast but they do..... Maybe I should put another two resistors in front!!!
@@davidthomas3680 there are lots of utube videos on how to do this. Also diagrams come with some resistor sets sold by bike part suppliers. Just search for "how to add resistors for LED turn signals"
