The dynamic between Obi-wan and Leia also adds more context to the reason why she names her son "ben" after obi-wan.

Sad to hear about Obi wans childhood. Made me realise how he never really had peace - from losing Qui Gon then going to war, losing Satine and then Padme and having to “kill” Anakin and then having to cut himself off from the force and go into solitude ☹️

It’s because for leia it would’ve been better than to have him as a father than Vader as her father, but we all know he is. So obi wans is sad that her real father is the dark lord.

Absolutely loved this ep and taster of whats to come with vader. Also mole man was voiced by zach braff as in JD from scrubs haha (i feel im just gonna be dropping facts about celeb cameos in each episode haha) love the content as always guys ❤️

The whole bit with "Frank" reminds me so much of the last time I had a flat tire. A guy stopped to help and his truck had a... well, to avoid a flame war, I'll just say a bumper sticker for a political figure I'm ardently opposed to. He was super nice and helpful, and I've been in deep trouble without him because my spare was also flat (he had an air compressor in his truck), but it was still a really weird feeling when I saw it.

Another awesome reaction from my two favourite Aussies, Cool fact about Vader is that the voice is actually the same AI tech called Repseecher that they used for Luke in The Book of Boba Fett, it allows one person to speak into a microphone or for text to be typed and then a synthesised voice to be recreated, they most likely had Hayden say the lines and then the Respeecher makes that sound like James Earl Jones

I kind of don't like that. Jones' voice is so iconic and so much a part of him, I don't like the idea of synthesizing it in a computer instead of him getting paid to say the lines himself.

Exactly, as the grand inquisitor said in episode 1 that the jedis' compassion leaves a trail and is their undoing. That's what Vader was doing trying to lure Obi-wan out by killing those civilians.

6:22 It's the Rule of Two. Even though they aren't Sith, these Dark Side users follow that code. They're all vying to be by Vader's side because they want that power. Though I do wonder if it is power that Reva really wants, she's different from the other Inquisitors. She wants (wanted?) revenge, but she seems somewhat changed from last week's episode.

If she was indeed one of the younglings at the temple, it's quite possible she witnessed Anakin in action cutting down her friends. Her motivation might be two-pronged. She blames Obi-Wan for Anakin's fall and she's trying to get close to Vader for revenge.
