Sanguinius model admittedly is low on the Daddy scale but Sanguinius himself as a character rates very very highly. Just because when he meets them they're all cannibalistic savages on the verge of being declared renegades and he's just like MY BEAUTIFUL BOYS and proceeds to teach them arts and crafts as a form of self-discipline.
Sanguinius is such a Tumblr girl, I cannot bring myself to hate them. Don't like their chapter, but he can join my book club and take home extra biscuits.

The only forgeworld primarch I bit the bullet and bought is Konrad curze. Purely because he is my favourite primarch and his model does have a good amount of scenery

Fulgrim is my favorite Primarch but I can’t stand his (non demon) model, the face just isn’t Fulgrim, it’s a generic shouting man. Fulgrim is one of the only Primarchs who’s explicitly not just a generic muscly white guy.
And the averages return! This time with a tripple feature The average score is a meagre 3,2. Could be worse, I suppose. Like the average Daddy score, down to only 3,05! We have learned that during the Heresy, very few of the Primarchs are daddy material. Though Perty really dropped the score... But what about... the universal average? Well, whatever you imagined... it's probably that, because it's smack-dab in the middle with 3,125.
@@lukehawksbee If they're trying to make a line of appealing products, the average should be at least trying to get to a 5, or at least a 4. I'm in customer service, I don't want the average of reviews about me to be "fairly mid".
@@mazubahtender I think you're completely missing my point here. You're assuming that there is an actual objective 1 to 5 scale and that you would ideally have all 5s. But my point is that would be a stupid scale. From the perspective of rating models relative to each other, you want 1 to be the worst model in that range and 5 to be the best in that range, so you can actually meaningfully compare them. 3 should be the average because that means you have a properly calibrated scale, where the average model in the range corresponds to the average rating on the scale, etc.
I actually really like the Perturabo model being a guy in Primarch-sized Terminator armour standing on what looks like the wreckage of a Knight or dreadnought. Shame that it's objectively bad.
At 7:04 I am assuming that the 5/5 on the Daddy Scale is reserved for the All-Daddy, Leman Russ. 8:05 I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you! I'm just curious: has anybody, at any point in the last few weeks, said anything nice about the Games Workshop website at all? He doesn't actually look very much like him but whenever I see the Lorgar model I'm reminded of Kenneth Noye for some reason.
Glad to see others dragging GW’s horrific new website. Amazing how they can price their minis as if they’re made out of diamonds but apparently can’t hire someone to make a functional website. They had to save some money for suing people who make space marines dance in Garry’s Mod I guess
Honestly, I always forget Horus isn't hotter. The way he's presented narratively always makes me expect someone more ethereally beautiful. But what's the imperium if not a collection of angry bald men yelling, I guess.
The thing that bugs me about about half of the Primarch models is they're designed more as mini dioramas or display pieces than something you'd use in a game. Yes, they're meant to stand out from the rank and file, but some go a bit too far. Ironically, Perturabo is one of the better ones for fitting in.
I have to say that my own ratings for Leman Russ would be model 1/5 (for the sheer lack of a proper Viking BEARD), and Dad 0/5. And for Rogal; Model 5/5, and Dad 5/5. Rogal is, in my own biased opinion, BEST Primarch. Mostly because my own Chapter is an Imperial Fists Successor.
