This is a test record using the arm native OBS v28 Beta.
This is a 4K 60fps live record of a DJ mix. Purely for testing - for full DJ mixes featuring tracks like these, please check my channel.
My OBS record setup includes two 4K camera inputs and 2 sources of live reactive visuals being captured into OBS. Traktor DJ software is also running in background. This was recorded using a Mac Studio with M1 Max.
Good news for this update, is that it worked well for this test record, only around 4-5 dropped frames were observed using OBS stats for this record. However, I don't typically have issues with v27.
Bad news, is that there is no support for the obs-midi plugin I was using to trigger scenes with my midi controller.
Since OBS v27 works well enough with my setup I'll likely hold off on updating and keep an eye out for updates on that plugin! (note: I could setup keyboard shortcuts as an alternative but the midi controller is much more satisfying to use...)
