I am glad that you figured out the problem! I could have never figured it out myself! Lol. Thanks buddy for showing us the video of the truck and explaining what all you have done on it!

Just got my 87 SWB on the road last fall. It's still running the OG 305 with TBI. I did a basic gasket rebuild and dropped in a later-model L31 roller cam. So far, so good!

Looks good. Those are the fifth generation Suburbans & were built from 1960 - 1966.

I know you're forever busy and never have time, but I'm quite certain if you made a video dedicated video where you went into a little more detail on the TBI qualities and known, potential issues/fixes, that video would be a big hit beyond your Jimmy's subscriber base. 👍

Wow. Impressive troubleshooting and fix, Bryan! Did you just happen to have a spare computer sitting around?

What would you charge me to swap out my fuel pump from inline to the tank. Drive by wire 5.3 with regulator on the rail and return style. Mine is very Loud as well. Waiting on my tax return as we speak. I'd drive it down from Kentucky.

I’ll just have to get with you once I’m caught up. I’m so far behind now I can’t hardly see straight but I’m making progress!

Hey Bryan, at 1:51 you mention the temp sensor. Any chance you got a good P/N on that? (Maybe a spare sitting on your shelf?) I'm trying to find a Delco one for my set up which has idiot lights and not actual gauges. And I keep coming up with P/Ns for sensors with gauges.

1551107 is the part number. Rockauto would be your best bet. Not sure on the one for dummy gauges

@@gmtim3840 I found that number on RockAuto. It crosses over to GM# 213-928 - which my local Advance Auto had. So I picked it up this afternoon since I wanted to drop it in today. (My 305's suddenly running rich and idling slightly funny.) Thanks for the answer. 👍
