Thanks to the magic of a certain Steve & Eydie audition song, that particular dream would not come to fruition. With the help of Seth, Carolee recreates her audition for the original production of "Ragtime", and corrects the
unsatisfying ending of "The Winner Takes It All" in "Mamma Mia"!

Oh my god, she is AMAZING. She has to be cast in Ragtime in the film or next revival. Her voice is still phenomenal!

Ragtime is definitely one of my favorite shows. I've been in it twice. Would LOVE to see Carolee play Mother. She'd kill it!

I saw her WONDERFUL performance at Signature Theater in Arlington, VA. It was incredible being in an audience with about 300 people and experiencing her talent up-close and personal.

Revisiting this 12 years later and still cannot believe anyone would use "Golden Rainbow" for auditions, but Carolee can make anything work. Belted E flat at the end, and then belted F at the end of "The Winner Takes It All." "Oh, my uterus" - indeed.
