Obsidian - Folder Notes (Lost Paul) 

I was running exactly into this issue from your previous video, great :)

A. Every time I see Josh's Obsidian, always impressed by how esthetic & structured it is. Wish mine was! B. Thiis tip on the dying plugins is gold. Will do this today! C. For me, Folder Notes are vital to turn the folder (in explorer) into an 'object'. The analogy of a room /container is itself an object with properties & actions, even if they are only "housekeeping'.

The cli tool uses folder notes to put index pages in too I personally love folder notes. Amazing tool

Just a different thought, I always have a folder note on every folder. At the very least I use the folder note to have a dataview table of the notes that are contained in the folder so when I click on the folder and view the folder note I know exactly what contents are in the folder and then I just click on the link to the specific note I want from inside the folder note. Saves me lots of time.

Hello there! I just started out using Obsidian and your tutorials have been a blessing. So I got your vault from the patreon aswell. At the moment I'm playing around with it a bit to try to understand more and more but I stumbled across a few things I dont understand whilst trying to set up my own vault with some of that content. These might be some stupid questions but maybe you would be so kind to enlighten me :D 1. In your vault when you use the button for a new Player (on the GM Board) the file is created without an icon. If moved into the 1-Party folder (or after some time, I am not sure) the icon updates automatically for that file. Where can I customize/configure or set this? It does not seem to be in the template if I am not mistaken 2. On the Player Views/ Tables in the colums there's an error aswell: "[MB_EXPRESSION] "failed to evaluate expression" caused by error "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'toLowerCase')"" Is there a fix for it? Keep it up!

Hello! Really helpful video, I was struggling with AidenLX's plugin and this simple reinstall fixed everything. Kinda unrelated question but I always see pretty Icons on your folders on the left of the screen. I know you use the Iconize Plugin, but would it be possible to know or get the icon pack you use?

I'm brand new to all this, and I'm not sure what I did wrong. I turned a folder into a folder note, then I moved some of my already created notes into it. But they disappeared, they don't show up in the file tree, and the Folder note does not "open" or "close". So it's basically acting like a note instead of a folder. What is odd is when I go through my file explorer view, the notes I moved are showing up there inside the folder that Folder Note created, they just aren't showing in the app. Is this a setting that I have to turn on somewhere?

First day with Obsidian. My folders with folder notes do not expand and collapse like normal folders. This has made it cumbersome to create a navigate to deeper layers of sub folders. Is there a way to have them both open the note page and expand the file navigation?
