Obsidian - Getting Started with Dataview 

I just found Obsidian last week and the other videos I have watched so far were quite basic in information design. Your videos are shocking in how much this tool is capable of. Thank you for all the effort and willingness to share

finaly a video about dataview that is actually using data and not just 3 basic af notes in an empty vault. i want to note that you can input metadata for dataview outside of the frontmatter by typing "Key:: Value" in a line. in that way you can put working links into the metadata ("Key:: [[Note]]") that work inside the non js query output. that way you can make for example the player name a link that you can click on inside the table. or use the table as fast MOC where notes link to related/important notes. or make the race a note you can click on so that you don't have to search for it. using it that way isn't as clean in read mode because they aren't hidden but that is a low price for magic like that.

I was looking at an entry into Dataview and all the tutorials were way too complex for me. Then I found out you of course had one as well. :) Question though: I am mainly looking for a way to categorize my maps. I have a LOT of them and I would like to find a good way to find maps when I need them (for instance I need a desert map with ruins on it). Problem is I have my maps stored on my SSD drive and my vault on my C. My maps take up a LOT of space so bringing them over to C is not really an option. Any recommendations? I have read about Symlink but people say it is risky because it can corrupt your vault. Another solution is to make a seperate Vault on my SSD of course. But Im just hoping to keep it all in the same vault.

Love this ! Was looking for something like this for a long time. Know I can go nuts with my "database". But just un simple question, how do you activate autocompletion like in your video ? Can't find this option and it's driven me crazy.
