My friend bought this watch on looks alone. Neither of us dive but my question is about the movement. What are your thoughts? I agree with you about the lug width, it makes the watch appear top heavy. As for the straps, I don't care for either. I have a question. Do any microbrands have where you can just pick the strap and the price is adjusted accordingly. Not like Undone. Just strap options?

The up close video format is a great idea that gives the viewer volumes of info without you even speaking a word.

I have been curious about these for awhile, but don't know much about them. What their warranty is like, their customer service, etc. I would have to agree with you on the lug width...22 would be better with this piece, as would the bracelet. But I would add a sailcloth watch strap for a sportier feel. Thats just me though. I know they have other colors, but I don't think would ever get one with an orange dial. Never cared for orange dials. Also...have an option to do away w the date please. It's useless to me.

Can someone PLEASE tell me why it's worth $1299? What's more, why a 20mm lug width on a 43mm watch? Borealis (for example) produce a watch as good on a bracelet, with a movement that equals it, for a third of the price.

Things I like - titanium, sun compass (interesting and unique stuff, but i don't think I will ever have the need to use it), good lume, good movement, 2 straps (although i would like one to be a rubber strap or steel bracelet for 1300 USD), date window. Things I don't like - 20 mm luggs, those thin hour and minute hands (I think that second hand is more visible in some cases than the other two), screw bars with flatheads, and of course - the price. My biggest problem with this watch is the existence of Magrette Moana Kara (which I own, so take this as my own, very biased opinion). Kara has 500 m WR, it is made of Titanium (grade 5, I think), has the same movement just without the date, has awesome lume, FKM rubber strap with integrated lugs and deployant clasp and 24 mm lug width - and best of all - its more than 500 USD cheaper. Is this a good watch - yes. Is it worth that amount of money - for me, definitely not.

I agree about the lug width and visual because of that. I really like the watch but 20mm would dig into my wrist and end up not worn.

I was going to pre-order one until I saw the lug width!

What a nice watch that would have been with a 12 hour internal bezel instead of that busy one they have with all the numbers.
