+Nonsense Poopypants actually it's not whisper tracked at all. I'm from around them and my band used to play with them when they were local and adam, believe it or not, has always had this crazy whisper-y undertone. almost like a false chord. it's still present live. he's also not that loud of a vocalist and is generally quiet in the mix at smaller shows that dont have as much PA power.
i just turned 26 and as I age more and more I realize the more unique and different you are, the better/cooler it is and more inspiring it is to others, and the more you have to offer. do your thing brah!
oceano has always stuck to their sound. its the one thing i love about this band. they dont change their music, they dont follow trends, they just make good heavy music that you can destroy people in the pit with. fucking love this band.
Adam deserves SO much more recognition than he gets. in the studio he sounds fuckin amazing. But even live his squeals and gutturals are hundreds of times better than you're average deathcore vocalist. It's not easy to br00tal vocals live and he can.

I've been a fan of Oceano since Depths but I think this album is by far the best one since then. Hope they come by here on tour again so I can catch some of these songs in person.

I saw this band live once. It was in the small venu called Solace. It was absotuly ASTONISHING, this guy's screams in person are perfect, and to add on, the entire band is super nice and fun to talk to. I have to say, best show I've ever been to.
it's nice to see someone black in the punk/metal scene. makes me feel like i'm not the only one lol. it's dumb when people associate metal to only one race, i'm tired of people telling me i'm trying to be something i'm not, or that i don't love myself or that i'm trying to be white/ashamed to be black/don't acknowledge my blackness. music is music and it can be appreciated by anyone ffs
Whitest of the the basic white guys here, just wanted to say I like what you had to say, and I hope fewer people want to make you, and others, feel ashamed. I like all sorts of music, and sometime I can identify a little when I find things that speak to me in other genres. Hope you keep finding your groove!

Everybody commenting about his race are black as well & showing love. I don't see anyone white even mentioning it but saying he's amazing. Quit being hypersensitive about something that truly doesn't matter... all that matters is talent and bro definitely has it

this dude is almost as brutal as Vincent from The Acacia Strain! This is the only Deathcore band I like...and it is SPECIFICALLY of his unique vocal talent.
They said in a interview that they make this songs to release emotion without being violent to other people. And i totally get them. If you had a bad day or you are fucking angry, listen to this. They release it FOR you!

I remember seeing them OPEN with this song at summer slaughter 2017, i was OUTSIDE the venue and you could not only hear him perfectly, but mannn those LOWS SHOOK THE FUCKING CONCRETE BENEATH MY FEET. IT WAS GLORIOUSLY BRUTAL! 🫶😭

They stopped to play a show in my town once, it's a pretty small town (Joplin, MO), just because they were passing through on tour but I didn't go. I never heard them until now and I regret not going to that show
Seen these guys live like 3 times and got damn! They're Fuckin sick live so much energy and the vocalist is an absolute fucking beast sounds even gnarlier in person
imagine just listening to the music instead of focusing on his race or comparing them to whitechapel..... and tbh..... there are a shit ton of black vocalists and this band sounds nothing like whitechapel.

They're in the same genre , that's what happens. There's only so many things you can do . You must not listen to much deathcore because Oceano is a band so many people consider different within the genre.
