Okay, I was just sitting in my truck wearing my salvaged selvedge denim and thinking how cool it was that they were washed prior to being sewn and how it should be done more often. Genius, I tell you. Now, if we can get an unsinged Elephant denim... More unsinged denim overall!
The final production versions of the Super Guy, Weird Guy, and True Guy fits have a Yellow Line Selvedge ID, while the Easy Guy, Classic, and Denim Jacket feature Red Line Selvedge IDs.
Is it difficult to get fabrics that have been anti skewed but not gone through singeing? Ie it would be nice for people that don't want to have leg twist but still maintaining hairy texture 😅
If the fabric has been rinse-washed, does that mean the jeans won't shrink/only shrink a little? I've never bought selvedge jeans so I'd like to be able to buy some nice new jeans without the guesswork of shrinkage.
Yes, exactly. Since the fabric has already been washed, you can expect very little additional shrinkage. You'll find with wear the jeans will stretch out as well.
@@NakedandFamousDenim Wow, this denim just keeps getting better! You guys really did think of everything. The greenish blue warp is the ocean, while the natural weft is the beach: the ocean's edge where both meet.
