Welcome to Oceanside! Welcome to Oceanside CA, San Diego County’s northernmost beach city known for its surf culture, laidback vibe, pier. The downtown just launched a number of exciting renovations, so we are checking out what’s new as well as the historic sites.
In this vlog, we are walking down the Oceanside Pier, visiting the historic Mission San Luis Rey, and filming locations for the classic Top Gun film. Downtown O'side underwent a revitalization project and is now home to new oceanfront hotels and shops. We visit the Mission Pacific Hotel which has a stunning rooftop bar and features the Top Gun House as the centerpiece of the property. We also check out the latest restaurants including the plant based restaurant The Plot and Indonesian cuisine at Dija Mara.
