School On Base 1:11
- DoDEA: For most people on the base, Active Duty command sponsored kids will go to a DoDDS/DoDEA school. But there are four categories, so if you’re a civilian contractor you need to make sure your kid’s school is included in your contract before you enroll them or accept the job.

- Child Development Center (CDC): Week day child care for ages 6weeks - 5yrs old (pre-school). You have to enroll early. There’s a waiting list and unfortunately very limited spots

- German school: Difficult to get in, big differences such as language barrier, American holidays are not granted off, school year is different (Mid August to beginning of July)

- Highschool sports: football, basketball, wrestling, cross country, tennis, volleyball, soccer, baseball/softball, cheer, track and field, etc
- After school programs: JROTC, Drill team, marksmanship, Child Youth Services (CYS), host nation clubs, club beyond - Military Community Youth Ministries (MCYM), NJHS, Math Counts, Junior Leadership Seminar (JLS), Stemposium, Student Council, Yearbook Club, Drama Club, Ski Club, Spelling Bee, etc.
