We've been PCS'ing for almost 20 years. I created a binder from the FIRST PCS. Military brat here and now military spouse, so organization is key!! I'll add this to my binder this upcoming PCS because we're COMING BACK!!! We LOVE LOVE Germany! Great job on this video and helping fellow spouses and vets stay organized-and don't forget...DON'T LET THE MOVERS PACK YOUR PAPERWORK or BINDER :)

I was wondering if maybe you could do a video just explaining and showing the different towns you could live in for leased government housing. I thought it was just limited to graf, vilseck, and netzaberg but after seeing your other videos it looks like there’s a lot more. I’m moving there with my family and I’m just wondering where all the different govt housing is and what kind of amenities each town has i.e. restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thanks again!

Hey! I am loving your videos. Question. We are moving to Vilseck in October. Our DL have an expression date in 2022 but we have a car from our state saying our DL doesn't expire as long as he is active duty. Should we renew our DL?
Hey thanks for watching! Yes. Definitely renew your DL before you get here. Set an appointment at the DMV so you're not there all day. You don't want to run into issues with a nearly expired DL when you arrive, plus you'll eventually have to renew your Germany/Euro DL while you're here and you need your stateside DL to be current.
Good question. The government will pack you up on their dime, but the movers won’t bring plastic boxes, only cardboard. You can get away with shipping yourself plastic boxes if you have a sponsor/coworker set up your on base mailbox. But I don’t think you can get away with plastic boxes for the entire HHG shipment 😬
