Been there several times for lunch at Howard's Pub. One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. Very good musical score with the video. Well done! Can't wait to go back.
which beach ramps are the best for swimming? Is the beach pretty much the same on the entire stretch of the island? going to get to some beach driving on july 4th
My guess would be sometime in the off season in the winter. There isn't much boat traffic in the waterways and little vehicle traffic on the road to the ferry docks. Also the vegetation hasn't greened up for summer. It's gets cold and windy out there.
After 2014 most of these places including Ocracoke are off limits. You can fly the populated town technically. These days NC has a couple of laws affecting this. Taking off and landing on private property without permission I believe and something about recording peoples houses with the intent to publish. Both of which make flying even the unrestricted area's of Ocracoke difficult to do and publish without a problem.
