Pred have so many blackout moments. You can excuse 1 but he have had so many. And now he's playing scared. Leaving Shotzzy to do everything. I think that is the biggest reason on why we're so vocal on him. He needs to just run at ppl like he did in vanguard
I see this echoed a lot lately, but wasn't one of the main issues with Pred this stage that he was running at people TOO much? He kept running into gunfights that he might have actually won if he played more passively. Karma's comments on Pred's playstyle were relevant earlier in the year, but I don't think this is his issue anymore. It seems like lately it's more that his decision making as a whole is broken.

Still a fairly new team, they aren’t fully used to the team chemistry yet. Living through the highs and lows together is exactly what they need in my opinion. We seen the way they played on Sunday major 3 finials. They have the potential to be great. As a OpTic Fan, I refuse to shit on any of the members and put in their head that someone needs to be dropped. Ridiculous behaviour from the “Fans”. I’m here for it all. That was a crazy statement from Sam to be honest. There are delusional fans of EVERY team. With literally no exception, every team that loses at least 3 matches in a row has fans asking for roster changes. And let's be honest, I'm not saying Pred should be dropped, he's a phenomenal player, but his performance was very poor at major 3. He had a few crazy maps where he popped off, but for most part, he was very reckless at the S&Ds, threw his life a lot, and the slaying was also not very good on HPs from him, considering he's not a player that sits in the hill. I still don't think he should be dropped.
The point is the entire team basically played the worst stage of their career.. at the same time. Pred was the only one to drop his season average kd wise, but he looked like an npc in search. The other 3 dropped .1-.15 kd lower than their season averages. It’s hard to win a respawn when you’re dropping a .9 as a team, and hard to win a search when you have to basically play 3 v 4.
@@ThatGuy-nv7cx agree man, everyone was off their game, but Pred has really fallen off. Take sub-base for instance, Pred used to just roam the map and fry, drop like a 1.5 or more, the last few sub-bases he went negative with not even 30s in the hill. And yes, the searchs are the worst, of course is not all on him, but he's almost always putting the team at a disadvantage getting blooded and just pushing when he shouldn't.

Pred is best when he’s able to play away from the hill and pick people off that are trying to take routes. It’s like he has a one track mind when he’s running across the map, only thinking about getting towards the hill because he gets caught unaware a lot doing that

I’ll say the quiet part, optic fans are the only reason there’s even a paltry viewing standard for CDL. Just look at the numbers when it’s optics better other matches. Watch champs be electric and heavy on viewing totals. Optic deserves credit for everything the cDl is lolz

Ironically, pred is the only one last stage who dropped his season average. All 3 of the other guys were .1-.15 kd lower than their season averages, which already aren’t that great. You can have the best fundamentals in the world, but if you’re dropping a .9 as a team, you’re not winning a damn thing. It’s impressive they went to as many game 5’s as they did honestly.
Online CoD is a factor, and also a skill to be able to lock in in those matches as a team. Also lowering points for Online, would make interest in those matches even lower.

Honestly, I would keep the team together another year. Let them continue to grow, work together, and get on that same page with a Treyarch game coming up instead of pointing fingers and ripping this roster apart. Its one major. The first 3 we went 3, 2 and then 1. We had one bad split where things just crumbled, lets see what happens at Champs first before we call for anyone to be replaced.
It’s almost as if there’s so many optic fans that when some say one thing then some say other it’s not the same people. Octane can’t wrap his head around that there isn’t 7 fans total that keep changing their minds.

Going on record as an optic fan that has never wanted pred on the team. Kenny is nice fs fs but pred is iffy asf. Ghosty, Illey, hydra are all better choices.
I really hope Kenny and AG ignore the noise and they’re talking amongst each other (the whole team) and making sure they can trust each other. IMO this team is godlike and they can adapt to each other, they just gotta do it. #GREENWALL
@tacrab, what are your thoughts on how well Dashy would mesh with Ultra's system if Optic decided to trade him for Scrappy? I think Scrap could be a great fit for Optic considering his confidence and consistency, but Dashy on Ultra is really interesting. Ultra are known for having a uniquely professional approach to gameplay and comms, and if Dashy was molded to mesh with their system i think it could fix the only issues that anybody ever seemed to associate with him (being late to scrims, getting checked out with bad results, etc). If he was able to fit into their system, i genuinely think it could result in him being even better than he is now - especially alongside cleanx, who is arguably one of the best pairs for dashy's playstyle in the league. Do you agree, or do you think Ultra's system and Dashy's personality/playstyle are just too different for the combo to work?
@@jaydenhockett9670 You're probably right considering the way player contracts seem to work, but this could be a case where it would actually make sense. Scrap still has a year on his contract iirc, and Dashy is from Canada so I'm sure Ultra would be one of his top picks. If a trade allowed the buyout for Scrap to be a bit lower for Optic and Ultra to avoid having to scramble for a good replacement if they were already getting the vibes that Scrap is considering a move once his contract is up, it isn't crazy to think that a trade would be the right play. Ultra makes some cash on top talent they found (which won't happen if they wait til he's a free agent), Optic gets a good deal on Scrap, and Hecz will be happy that Dashy is being sent to a good situation.

I'd say Dashy and Shotzy should be traded for Scrap and Hydra if it were possible. Mostly seems Dashy is the problem. Pred and Hydra would work better.

I respect Octane's COD knowledge and gameplay. I get what he's saying but man not all of us Optic fans are like that. While he was winning champs we saw our team only win 3 majors in the cdl era. That is pathetic for the biggest org fanbase in the CDL. We see this every season the boys do well for 3 stages and then just suck ass in last 2 events of the season. It depends on how optic does at champs whether they get rid of pred or not personally I feel hydra would be a better pick up but pred is good he just needs to play with the team more instead of being a lone wolf on the map

I really believe every team aside from MAYYYYYBBBEEEEE faze would get better with the addition of Hydra. That being said no one Cleanx, Scrap and Insight have been together for a minute now, the big 3 from faze, and then Hydra, kis and skyz are now on their second year together and really showing promise hitting form right before champs. As an optic fan I see how much it hurt that Optic team to swap out pieces multiple times per season and every other offseason. Consistency and culture within the competitive team is what is needed and that doesn’t just get fixed over night by adding all star caliber players. I say regardless the champs result they should really just continue to work through this teams issues because they have such amazing potential

A majority of OpTic fans are like me, they just sit back watch and enjoy pro cod and all the OpTic content. We support the community that OpTic has created and love that we have grown up with Nade, Scump, Crim, Dashy, Shotzzy, and so on. If OpTic lose it's fine, if they win it's awesome. I'm gonna support them throughout bc it's fun to be apart of the community of Cod with the game we all love to play. I support Pred, Dashy, Shottzy, and Kenny. Idc who they have, as long as they show potential and are trying it's great. I love that Pred is super good in Content too. Shottzy has grown a ton on the content side over the past two years. Ive been an Optic fan for 12+ years.. most "fans" are delusional lol AG has been a GREAT addition to this squad. AG has made some iffy decisions the last few weeks in some search rounds but ive said the same thing about every player in the league. Stop with the "Drop Pred" shit. The dude is one of the best talents in the league and has show us that. We arent gonna be what the dynasty was, there's to much talent spread across multiple teams.. cant win them all ffs.
can't have Hydra on Optic cuz its gonna have the same outcome, if they want Hydra then they would need Shotzzy to play aggressive and be the one who breaks into HP's while Hydra takes Routes and pinches on the backside of teams
My issue with dashy is that all the years he really had he hasn’t truly done anything impressive. Not to mention he had a lot of teammates and still wasn’t able to have a dominant season compared to Faze. If you look at all of the teams Dashy has played for they were truly never impressive. So it begs the question should optic move away from him to try something new.
The Green Wall expects nothing but the best. We had the greatest Roster in call of Duty history so we will continue to try to replicate that until we succeed. Nevertheless I stand with the boys or lose.

Yes Octane 🙄 thanks for tarring the entire Optic fan base with the same brush. Personally, as long as the chemistry is still good between the 4 players I want them to carry on together next year. We have to see what happens at champs. From what I’ve seen this year, this Optic team has what it takes to win, but they’re going to have to shake off the pressure and believe in themselves.
