That's fine but anybody that thinks they're anywhere near a dynasty are delusional. That term is thrown around so loosely these days. Dynasties are made when you go on multiple win streaks and win most if not all tournaments in a season across many years. You're not a dynasty if you get 2nd or 3rd consistently, you gotta be 1st consistently

They'll be the only "dynasty" to have won 2 rings and I don't really see why this trio wouldn't be considered the greatest dynasty and cod team ever with 2 rings under there belt. nah it's faded to call a team "favorites" when they are 2-9 in grand finals. The favorites are NYSL to repeat. That dog in Kismet is back and Sender has those boys frying. Hydra is the best player in the league and his teammates are finally in final form.

Agree that they shouldn’t split up as they are a team that is capable of winning as shown in M2, but as an org that is trying to win chips, Second is not good enough. Nobody remembers second place and orgs like Faze and Optic aren’t trying to build rosters to place top 4 consistent. They are trying to win championships consistently.

There is a reason why teams don´t play practice matches against each other in any other sport (at least not as the main source of practice). It´s truly a curse to be good at scrims. Aches used to throw scrims on purpose simply because it´s no use to give away all the spots you play best day in day out and then match day comes up and the enemy throws you a curveball.

Id like to clarify I’m an optic fan, but Bar Drazah I don’t see the trio splitting up, I understand fans disappointment etc and the placings issue is annoying, but they’re still without a doubt the best team in terms of consistency and it’s not close, simp and Abezy will never split up. Ever. cellium lives and breathes faze so I don’t see him leaving either

To me, the 2-9 record and the way tournaments are structured are why faze cannot ever be called a dynasty. They have only had 1 super dominant game (cw). If they had done half as good in vanguard they would of been a dynasty, but it’s laughable at this point. 8-12 team tournaments and this franchise cannot win championships consistently but will always make T2 is insane. They have also not found consistent success with multiple members filling the 4th spot while col/eg were equally as dominant with Clay and Karma

People need to understand that a huge part of that 2-9 record came from vanguard which was probably the biggest mental block faze had that year. Where as faze looked decent in mw2 and are really good in mw3.

If NY win champs this year, they are by definition a dynasty, and Hydra and Kis would both be top 5 subs of all time. But you'd be surprised how many people are against calling NY a dynasty. Pat is actually right for a change. Faze is a great team, they don't need to get better, there needs to be a mentality change. They aren't playing finals the same way they are playing other games. They are good enough to have a 50% conversion rate at minimum. They should be 6-5 in finals at minimum! But 2-9? That's just not good enough.

Absolutely not, what is the constant, that’s Atlanta faze in the grand finals. What other team can claim that, no other organisation. That shows greater consistency above all other else. If faze were to win it all since the start of the CDL era it would be boring. It’s good for the scene that other can still win it, but to say faze need the roster change when let’s be honest the core 3 make the finals the majority of the time is a feat in itself, that deserves respect. To say the need any change is wild. Other teams just need to step the f*ck up whe. It comes to crunch time

Aches is absolutely glazing. Faze are not the best team at every tournament either. OpTic for example was better at Major 3 and knocked them out before they got to the grand final. There's just better teams now that can beat them simple as that, they are not a dynasty

Faze was the best team in the qualifiers by a pretty big margin, but when they lost to Ultra in that round 11, they didn’t bounce back mentally. Optic took advantage of that and caught fire and looked great. But again that speaks to the mental blocks that Faze have

I don't remember him having amazing stats but I know he did things that helped them win like winning gunfights for spawns, fighting for scrap time, etc. Very underrated in both Black Ops 4 with Enigma 6 and on the Mutineeers in MW19.

Dude Valorant/Riot's production is miles better than cod. At least the quality of production is. Theres almsot no lag or issues with frame rates on the stream. The observers are so much better. I do agree that the casters/analysts aren't on the same level but the production is so much better. And it took almost all season for CoD to fix their Codcaster client bugs this year

@@Hushed_1 don't be ignorant. Cell's extremely low engagements per 10 (he's about the lowest of any AR in the league) is extremely detrimental. Scrap is the best AR in the game and it's not even close. Dashy and Ghosty are distant 2-3, with Sib playing very well right now.

As an OpTic fan I think Faze ius the better team. However, the diference in language when the Flank talks about these two is nuts. Faze are choking on Sundays. Period. Call it like you would if OpTic were playing.

@@justinbieber3697 I'm confused. Are you just saying Faze is over-rated? I don't think they are. I think there is some sort of issue when it comes to icing up when it matters. Which leads me back to my original point. OpTic was lambasted for that early in the season.

@@xXGageXx I wasn't saying that, but I'd definitely say that to someone calling them tourney favorites. Compare Faze's map losses to Optic's map losses early in the season and you'll see the difference between choking/not icing up and getting simply out-played.

Not even a Faze fan, but Faze is the complete opposite of inconsistent. You can pretty much guarantee they'll be t3 every tournament. Silver Surfers? Fair. Inconsistent doesn't describe them at all.

I'll keep on saying it. Moving to PC killed the S&D scene. No one wants to play against cheaters in S&D tournaments and tournaments overall. It's actually sad as i used to love staying up all night watching console tournaments and matches. You know everyone you're playing against aint walling. PC has killed cod comp

COD community faded once again , the fact Faze can consistently be making finals is no easy feat. Maybe save some strats for finals? Add another coach? Why is it that a team can be just about #1 all year and calling for someone to get dropped ??? 💀 Yall want this to be a real league but act like it’s manager mode on fifa 🤣

Yeah... No. So what if they lose more than they win? The "FaZe trio should split" narrative is total bullshit. Anyone capable of rational thought could figure out why. 1) They're not losing to markedly inferior teams (most of the time). Toronto, New York, Texas. All top teams. 2) The CDL'S one-series Grand Final is legitimate "cheese" if I've ever seen it. Where's the advantage for Winners side? I've BEEN saying we need to follow Halo and do a double BO7. Go look at pre-CDL tournaments - how often does the team who comes through Losers win the final? 3) FaZe get the most chances to win tournaments. I'm not gonna clown a team that consistently makes it to finals. That's ridiculous. 2/9 (not 2/11, if we're talking VG onwards, surely?) obviously isn't a good record, but making Top 3 in every event since CW (barring CW Major 5) is the much more impressive and important record, both for consistency and income. TL;DR - I'd much rather consistently make it to Finals, than have my placings be all over the place and not know when I'll get another chance.

Moving the goal posts to justify a pattern of bad finals performances across multiple different years against multiple different teams is pretty wild. Not that I disagree with the practicality of the idea of going back to 2 best of 5s or even 2 best of 7s like Halo does. Even if we say that the team that comes from winners should be afforded a reset, realistically if they are the better team they should have a better record even with the current format. 2 out of 11... the reality is faze excel in a best of 5 format and struggle with the best of 7s and best of 9s due to inconsistent map pool issues and overall lack of confidence in finals the proof is in the results.
