if my husband doesn't want me to spend hours a month carefully crafting the pages with pretty things that he'll spend his day and spill his stress onto, I don't want it.
Hey there, Elizabeth! Suzanne and I just wanted to send a quick "Thank You" for using some of our music, and our new album's artwork for your amazing video. We were sitting here tonight, pretty much in awe, as we watched what you did with Laura's beautiful painting, while you told such interesting stories about our favourite bird. It was a real treat to see and hear your husbands comeo appearance as well. Your voices just relaxed us as we watched...Both of you certainly have two new fans out here in the wilds of Alberta:)
I've been watching your videos for a while now with both your monthly set ups and the ones you do for your husband and I absolutely love them each time. I just wanted to leave a note that it's because of these, especially the ones for your husband, that actually helped me keep going with my own bullet journal. It serves as a reminder that I don't need a lot of different spreads to make it work. 🖤
I know I’ve said this before, but I just wanted to reiterate that I love the way that you include info about the subjects of your artworks. I love coming away from a video like this with new knowledge and a new enthusiasm for a plant, creature or similar. And I’m extra pleased to have a new band to investigate too!
I love how this spread evokes a subtle Halloween vibe without being too deliberately Halloweeny. Plus I feel great knowing new facts from you, especially the collective terms for ravens.
Beautiful work like always :) Some more fun facts about Ravens. They have very close family bonds and their children stay with the parents up to seven years. All you mentioned that they can remember faces and facial expressions of humans: When having a bad encounters with farmers etc. Ravens will teach that information to their children. So knowledge is passed on. I bet there are even more facts we haven't found out yet, and maybe we never will
As someone who lives in close proximity to a medley of corvids, I learned very quickly that ravens have the deepest 'call' of all of them. I'd describe it as almost guttural. They're incredibly majestic but also definitely more than a little spooky 🖤
Such a gorgeous theme, as ever ❤ I love your artwork and the facts about ravens. 🐦 My dad's German Shepherd dog made friends with a raven; they used to play where it would fly low over her head as she ran and she would jump up, catch it in her mouth, run with it for a bit and let it go. And then do it all over again. They are amazing animals!
Somewhere during the video I thought: If I hadn’t already subscribed to her channel I probably would have done it during this video. I thought of some kinds of fairytales including ravens. 🖤
🎱 I love the fact that ravens hold a grudge! That makes me laugh, I’m sort of picturing a sit-com featuring a curmudgeonly old raven getting back at perceived slights 😆 Beautiful work as always. And the music in is video is enchanting, I’m going to have to look this band up!
@@RosalinTedesco just watched last night! I loved the boop boop and wow! You can see how the beak could cause some damage if Fable didn’t like you! Quite amazing creatures aren’t they?
Beautiful. This was so therapeutic to watch. I didn’t know that Ravens remember so well. If I ever bump into one, I’ll be sure to be extra friendly x 🐺🐈⬛
Can confirm, Raven’s remember faces so well! I worked at Stonehenge this summer and they remembered who was most likely to bring up food for them and would flock as soon as they turned up at the monument field. They’re incredible birds, I loved seeing them up there every shift 🖤
Beautiful spreads, as usual. Your voice is calming but the one of your husband is even more. And thank you also for continue including facts. They are very entertaining! 🦅🖤
If you can mostly palette watercolors I’ve found that mixing them with white gouache, it helps add opacity and body to the watercolors without having to own loads paints.
I always do nightmare before Christmas for October, next year I am doing a theme like this, either raven or Annabelle Lee, I believe it's call or bells so much fun thank you.
Ravens are such beautiful and majestic birds. I first learned about a few of their unique abilities by watching a video of someone showing off their pet raven they named 'Fable'--a fitting name that I will always remember when I think about ravens.
Love this theme. I’m going to use Edgar Allen Poe work for my theme. Thanks I was totally dragging my feet setting up October. The Raven The Tell-tale Heart So good.
🖤 🦅 love this look and the music is fabulous, I wonder if I can find it here in Australia. I didn’t know that ravens lived so long or that their memory was so good… makes me love them even more
Loving this theme! 🌑🖤 In Northern Mythology, Odin the Allfather has two ravens with whom he can watch over the world like his eyes (much like Ursula and her eels in Disney's The Little Mermaid) Also, why is there no raven emoji in existence?!
Good afternoon 👋☺️ Plant Based Bride 🌹 love what you did for your husband's journal for October 🤙✋🦇🦉 stay safe and be careful 🙏✍️🖌️🎨💌🌹👋☺️ enjoy your weekend too 👍🦄
