2021. This song got me through uni. It got me through the debt, the exes, the failed jobs because of my “attitude”. Now look at me. Business owner, successful career. Well traveled. Speak multiple languages. En route to marry the love of my life & make that white picket fence dream come true. The gold is mine & Oddisee, I owe it all to your music that kept me level. I hope you’re good.
"See it's all about exchange it ain't all about the fame Im living upper middle class and people hardly know my name Cause the dollars that I gain ain't at the course of rotting brains" 100% real man. respect. Def my favorite music artist today. Such a powerful person.
Man, this is as good as it gets. I really like this guy's style. The truth of his voice just bleeds all over any beat he talks on. It's nice to hear REAL shit every once in a while.
And they are all his beats. Oddisee will always be up there in my top 10 if I can even list a top 10. It's hard to find great music in such consistency from an artist, but yet there is so much too love and some how every time I put an Oddisee track on, it resonates with life like no other.
I grew up with this guy. Always was into the art of this music. We all share the same vision. Im so glad to see someone from my era bring success on more of a Lryrical original DMV sound. Keep doing your thing brother, WE SEE YOU!!! #DMVNATION
Man this is so chill. So deep. This is what should be on mtv and radio stations. this is like the cure for all the poisonous music out there. Much LOVE to you all!
+SickMike07 Lol, if you are looking for deep shit on freaking MTV you need to look somewhere else. MTV is the REASON why there's so much poisonous shit out there in the first place.
They (the elite) wont allow that to happen. They want stupid music so they can make society stupid. This music is to intelligent for your average mumble loving music retards

Anyone else think this sounds like Macklemore's The Town? I don't care which one came first, both are great songs. Both have a similar vibe on the beat to me, though. And before anyone jumps on me for thinking Macklemore is on the same level as Oddisee, go check out his early stuff (like The Town, Otherside, Starting Over, B-Boy...).
+David L. Rodgers I just listened to Wacklemore's "the town" and no. just no. dont compare that song to this song. Wacklemore is and always has been garbage.
That's nothing new, some producer with track like this just cut and repeat certain parts of a song to make ther own track. Jay z and diddy has don't this multiple times. Simplely put Produce just means he put it all together that does necessarily mean he created something new.
