That was a goal from something where it objectively shouldnt have been a goal, play was stopped so it doesnt matter if they overturn it. It will forever be the least pro sport in the world because of stuff like this

@@hedonismunderstands2469 Initially yea, it was a tackle, but when slowed you can see Langdon almost completely let go of Sheezel and then stripped the ball. Not TECHNICALLY holding the ball but watching it live, and as a massive roos fan, I thought he was gone.

This was the biggest oddity of the round for me

You have to satisfy 3 conditions simultaneously: 1) be within 9m of the scoring line 2) be under immediate pressure from the opposition 3) not have had prior opportunity to dispose of the ball While he clearly satisfied the 9m condition, he did not satisfy the other two as he was not under pressure when he took the ball and had both time and space to dispose of it. He wasn't even tackled over the line, he stepped over while the opponent was still a couple of metres away.

@@timothyhill6879 the rule outlines the conditions that must be met for it to be deliberate. The use of the word “and” means that, for it to be deliberate, you have to meet all of the conditions: (a) is greater than nine metres from the Goal Line or Behind Line; (b) is not under immediate physical pressure; (c) has had time and space to dispose of the football OR Meeting only d is sufficient for it to be deliberate (rucking it over the line on the full). While he had time and space, and wasn’t under physical pressure, he wasn’t further than 9m from the scoring line. Therefore not all conditions met, therefore not deliberate.

@@captainpoppleton, the barometre of staging can be interpreted insanely loose. People throw their heads back when tackled. As it always is, a certain instance is not the problem - it's the environment; the entire system.
