13:53:- to give context to this context. Metallica was on tour when the tour bus hit a patch of black ice and flipped over, crushing the bassist and killing him. When the emergency services tried to lift the bus off the band member, the cable snapped and landed on Cliff. After Cliff Burton's death, tour bus safety was greatly improved. The weird thing is, Cliff Burton and Kirk Hammett (Metallica's 2nd guitarist) decided to have a card game for the bed that killed Cliff Burton. Had Kirk Hammett won, the story would have been so different.
