I love how you try and use different techniques in your videos. It stops them from getting repetitive and it helps show how to properly implement those techniques. You seriously are the best prop channel on RU-vid!

For the spike point, I found that if you add a small layer of foam on top, most cons will still see it as foam and let it through. Also, fantastic build! I'm always so excited to see how you make props, as it helps me figure out how to do mine as well!

The format of your videos is always fresh and I can’t tell you how excited I get when you update. Not to mention your ads don’t FEEL like ads, which is a HUGE plus with how many ads a person encounters in their day-to-day life. It bled into the “story” of your vid and it makes me very happy to watch and see you having a good time not only making props, but getting creative with editing and video format. Not to mention the texture idea! I’m actually working on a project (Withered Bonnie suit from FNAF) that it would work GREAT on, and it was surreal to have that idea click and think “oh my gosh that would work on MY project too!” Fantastic as always, (as well as you challenging yourself on new materials!) and I can’t wait to see what you build next :)

Thank you very much! I bet the crusty bits on Withered Bonnie will look perfect! While making the video, I mixed 3 different batches of Bondo, because it kept setting up. Since I was not smearing it all on in a hurry, I ran out of time for when it was more liquid. Definitely do smaller batches than my first one here. Also, if you look between the edits, the bristles on my brush get shorter. I would cut off the hardened Bondo. A full length brush gave a better texture than the short one. I still used very little Bondo overall, it was a cheap and easy technique to do.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, but the term for the grip section of an axe is "haft". Beyond that, beautiful craftsmanship as always!

Odin's sceptre, Loki's sceptre, Thor's Asgardian winged helmet iron man helmet, war machine helmet, wasp helmet, venom canister, captain America's mask, starlord's blaster, orb sphere, teceract cube(glowing),dr.strange's locket ....... A great list of props for Odin a great challenges but I am damnnn sure Odin will kick this challenge's ass

I'd add some small lines of silver at the very edges of some rusty raised surfaces -- even if they don't show on Bonesplitter art (perhaps due to the scale), as this would look very good. But otherwise a fantastic looking project and great video, as always!

This axe makes me think of those stereotypical suits of armor standing in the halls of mansions and castles, like you'd see in the old Scooby-Doo cartoons. Odin, I can't help but wonder how you would make a life sized version of such a display! (I imagine it would have to be a multi-part series, for the various armor components.)

I’m not sure how sturdy they are but there are eva foam dowels that you can use instead of the sharp wooden dowel so Cons don’t yell at you if they’re strict

Thank you! I have only done it once before - when I worked at Play Inc.! I did a bunch of wooden connectors for large pipes (it was a thing in a trade show) They looked like they were from a sunken ship, the rust was so much. I think I did 2 layers of texture for them.

Just a thought, there is a instant rust effect paint you could get hobby lobby, paint like that would of making the axe head much easier & maybe more realistic. I never used it myself, but I've seen other people use it & it seemed to get excellent results.

Help with a mid/latter 80's videogame plz. It's a 1st person POV where you see the hero's back the whole game. Kinda futuristic. You start with a running start until your 5 foot long cannon-like gun's rocket-at-then-end turns on & you use it to fly with. There are these chinese dragon-like creatures that sorta move circularly around the screen you have to blast. The graphics were pretty cutting edge at the time.

Protip - If you're a very impatient man, you can give a quick blast to the contact cement side of the foam with a hair dryer after applying the cement. It'll quicken the drying time a wee bit so you can stick the things together a little faster.

Interesting design. Good thing its supposed to be an artifact, because normally with a blade that rusty its far more likely to just crumble on contact instead of splitting anything.

Do y'all think it's possible to make a facsimile of Captain America's energy shield (not the Wakanda shield). Making the light projection would be easy enough but how would you maintain the projection at the fotearm level and keep it from casting out to a wall like the batsignal?

Hey, what if it projected from the wrist & attached to the wrist was a lightweight, shield-shaped disc? That way the light can project onto the disc an possibly give a hard-light construct effect. I bet Odin could knock that outta the park!

That was the fist thing I thought of, a plastic shield/disc that has the symbols or design etched into it, then lit with a strong LED. I have seen many Doctor Strange spell hands made this way.
