Hello. VAS5054 is very old tool. Reflash could be done only online.

You can use ODIS with any J2534 device or OEM tool. All programming is done online. It is VAG policy.

There is an option. You can click "No keys programming" and system will get VIN and other info from other modules, just you need one working key to ignition ON. If you choose "Program Key" option, you will need to have all keys present to re-program them.

Hi! I am pretty sure you cannot retrofit old cluster to another car because of security issues. If you install a new cluster, still you must unlock security protection feature, which could be done online only.

@@autoscan777 , i now with odis we can make mileage correction. Are very information in the net odis can do it, but I can't find how to do

@@vtecvtec6146 When doing new cluster programming, there is option to input Mileage on time only. If you retrofit old cluster, you cannot change Mileage to new. VAG allows to change Mileage till 200km on cluster only.

@@autoscan777 My exact question is : When you plug a car with ODIS, does ODIS give you automaticaly all Action code available for this car ? or you have to find by your self Action in TPI in exemple ?

@@gdmdg When you connect to the car, ODIS identifies VIN, and next asks if you wish Guides Faults Search or not (it is marked ON on default). In the right side of the menu you can see all functions list, like self-test or Guides functions, Admin. But my advise never use Guides search as it is frustrated.

In order to be able to use online flashing you must a) Obtain Org-ID from national dealer, b) Pay subscription for GEKO, c) setup VPN connections to factory, d) pay $10 for each hourly diagnostic session or pay $2500 for a full year.... Been there done that

@@charmand79 Yes, you are right, might be not working in your country, but NOT in other countries! We sell a lot of Mangoost Pro VW and Cardaq Plus, so we know it well. VAG policy differs country by country.
