Sadly, most of these horrific crimes are committed by repeat offenders. Your government is hiding details of the suspect to make sure THEY don't get in trouble for not protecting you. Period. If the suspect was known to police, and they still hide the identity. Couldn't one argue that omitted facts are causing ACTUAL violence? How would you feel if the person who killed your family member, was protected more than your family member or friend that was shot and killed?
