Here we leave Maengwynedd and head for the island of Anglesey or Ynys Mon where we have two fab nights staying free on the beach car park at Pentraeth. We walk to LLanddona to see what the latest situation is re free camping there, we have a beach BBQ, find adders, lizards and some cool invertebrates and collect some wild samphire. All free and off-grid in our Autocampers Ford Transit Custom.

Another idyllic video. You can’t beat Wales especially when the weather is like that. What a beautiful sunset. Some pretty cool wildlife, I don’t think we’d like to see an adder though! It’s such a beautiful area. I can’t wait until we can get back to Anglesey. Cheers 🍻

Great video guys just parked up and this was my morning video and it looked very relaxing … great spot. Love the reptile hunting very informative….. glad you didn’t eat the one with red spots lol …… Loving your productions keep them coming

Thanks guys much appreciated. It is a lovely spot and we're always surprised by how few other campervans we see there. Perhaps the sign at the entrance warning them that the car park is liable to flood at high tide puts them off lol. Or maybe it's the venous snakes or the poisonous bugs lol. Will be watching you continue your adventures in Ireland later. Looking forward to it x

@@adogaday I think you have stumbled across a solution to protect areas - start reporting of wildlife that some will run away from or maybe tidal issues etc - can you send pictures of the van in 8inches of water

Hi. Thanks for watching and commenting. Can’t beat sitting round the fire pit with a beer. Lovely. To be honest we hadn’t given the show any thought at all. We’ll check to see if there are any tickets left and have a think about it. Of course we’ll say “hi” if we see you. We’ll check out the channel too x

Hi mate. Thanks for that, appreciate it. The fire pit is a firewok and you can get them here firewok.co.uk/ they're not cheap but they are portable, really robust and come with a lifetime guarantee so you'll never have to replace it. We've had over 6 years and it's as good as new.

@@adogaday if it comes as planned I will go to a place called Wanlockhead which is about 40 minutes from where I stay. Not to put a damper on things, it’s where my wife and I used to go for day trips. Sadly she passed away last year so I think it’s only fitting to make it my first trip and try and move on. Hi it’s Raymond. As you can guess my van did not arrive as I stated earlier This time it was down to the rail strike @%#££@. Well on a brighter note it arrived at garage a few weeks ago and I had a short drive in it and a good inspection. I have opted to pick it up on the 5th of January. So watch this space. Hi. You’re right this was Aug 2022. Never had any problems staying at Pentraeth and it’s a good alternative to Llanddona if there’s any problems there. I’m sure that applies to 2023 too. Just check the tides to make sure there isn’t a really high one.

Did you have any hassle with park9ng up overnight. We have been put off North Wales and Anglesey because we have heard so many horror stories about van's not being welcome any more. We used to love our trips to Anglesey.

Hi guys. Thanks for watching. We have never had any trouble at Pentraeth. Lots of dog walkers who are always friendly and chatty. It definitely seems to be getting harder in general though, especially for camping rather than parking up. On Anglesey, for example, we used to stay at Newborough and Rhosneigr but they are both a no-go now. Snowdonia is getting harder too. It does feel a bit like we need to make the most of the few places that are left before they go too. Hope you're well. Happy travels x
