I’m 20 years old i don’t have a family or anything i’m still in college but a very very big part of me wants to just say screw all this and try and live off grid i’ve always loved the idea of living off the land but ironically enough it always seemed like it was something just too expensive too do.

I'm 17 and I've wanted to live off grid since I was 15 I can't wait to start the journey after highschool

COVID and new world order brought me here.

Everyone that wants off grid living with a lot less restrictions think of abondoned villages in mountains of East Europe! My neighbor is selling his land 3/4 acre for 1, 800 dollar cash , 35 dollars per year land tax on the spot ! You can live bill free off grid immediately! Caution the move will not be easy! Come early spring to get ready for the winter! If you want a change you have to jump head first

I like the realness I felt in your words. Genuine and honest. It took me back in time when I was a kid and we had lots of chickens and a few sheep. Life was good eventhough half of the time we didn't have sugar for our tea. Those days were priceless because as a family everyone was together....🤔🙂 but now😔

I would really love to live off grid right now... especially with the way things are going. You were wise to leave "normal" life behind. It is unreliable, especially now. If we get through this difficult period alive, I will be moving off grid, start homesteading and never looking back.

I depend on electricity that I don’t produce; I don’t even know where it comes from. When you said you have a heating system you can trust, that statement was deeper than most people realize.

This is life goals for me. I need more time for my craft. Working jobs I don’t care about is depressing and not a way to live.

My goal is to live off grid when I build, but I am nervous about using firewood to heat the home. Even a home which is built with good insulation and is fairly air tight will of course lose heat over time. I would be worried about going to work while my dog is there alone, for example, even of there was a way to leave a fire safely burning then it would eventually die, and there is no way I would ever leave it burning. I have no one living there with me and so there would be no one to tend to it and no one to help him stay warm. Eventually I want to live this way, as I highly value living in harmony with the land and reducing my footprint so to speak. I am thinking of buying one of these kits very soon as I believe I may have found a suitable plot of flat land, and have been exchanging emails with the city building administration regarding building codes etc for the land. But I must continue working for now not only to afford the build and moving costs, as well as pay for my classes as much as possible as I go, to help try to mitigate future debt that is sure to arise from seeking higher education in America, even if I do qualify for scholarships once I begin going back to school full time. It's going to be a bumpy road, but renting in the city here while having a dog has become nearly impossible to do by myself even working full time. I've lately been considering a second job, but the idea of making my poor dog stay here all alone for even more time out of the day than he already is a heartbreaking idea to me. I think one of these houses, if I'm able to find financing, would cost slightly less per month or equivalent to what I pay now for a little one bedroom apartment which I'll never own or be able to modify. I hope to be working with you very soon, and I appreciate all these videos.

Thank you for this video! Me and my fiancé recently bought a remote lot with 32 acres in MO that has septic and a pre drilled well and a fixer upper with a rain water catch system already but we want to go further and truly go off grid and are trying to get ideas on how to do so

Awsome.. I got chills.. its doable.. I'm 0lqnning as we speak.. I'm broke but what we work for ?? I wanna enjoy life simply..its depressing qnd hard in this fast paced world of wants wants wants .. I just wanna stay sane as I have without use 9f medication. My family struggles qnd I always knew growing up what I didnt wanna be and this is what I want peace and love and frusterstions and hard times too but worth it !! fresh ground coffee by hand on a wood stove with my books eating healthy and simple.. bottling my own food and growing it harvest cpl small animals and I live in Canada so really I dont need to harvest animals ..maybe some chickens .. moose rabbit deer qnd lots of fish is fine ❤❤ so easily doable but ppl say I'm nuts.. lol I'll work and save and PLAN

When it comes to medical know who is around you and if they are a doctor then you have your medical taken care of or you can study to find out what is wrong with you and find things that you can grow to help your health.for heat wood stove. Electric use solor or wind depends on what is best for you also you can have some things shipped like seeds and clothing and some of you food

People never talk about buying the land, paying the taxes every year.
