We leave our off-grid homestead to find an off-grid wilderness property and plan our OFF GRID CAMPOUT. Join us!! Check out our website and sign up. www.gridlessness.com/offgridc...
Do you think your wimpy Beta Male Prime Minister will let Americans cross the border or will he do to this awesome get together like he is doing to all the Canadian NHL teams and postpone it
@@jaykinersly5142 You need to be fully vaccinated, and I believe you’ll currently also require a negative test result, but that will likely change by May.
Thank you girls for getting my girls trying to do as you do your videos have given others the drive to do as you all have done you have become role model s for so many thank you bless you all
I know one of your countryman recently got a contract with National Geographic to do a television series on his camping and bushcraft skills. I enjoy his channel but think they should have looked at and chosen your family instead. What you and Rose have done with your lives and the skills you have imparted on those girls is truly something wonderful to watch. Keep putting out the amazing content and I wish you all the best with Spring Camp.
While the whole word is problematic on pandemic you guys enjoying the freedom and good life best wishes for you all you always nake me smile watching you
Yes!!! That campout sounds Awesome!! If only I were not partially disabled. I can do car camping though, so maybe if you can use an ATV to transport people in from the parking area? The workshops sound wonderful; I’d love to learn leather and woodworking! How amazing it would be to hear Shoshana on the harp, banjo, guitar, or just leading campfire singing!! 👍🏽🙏🏽🌲🏕🪵🔥🏕🎵🎶
Just 8 and a half hours to go! I'm waiting, just don't drag muddy footprints across my carpet! Take your boots off and stay awhile and get warm! I don't have a Blaze King, so be sure to bring a Hot Dave as well!
It's so cool, that I watched THAT vid before this one. camp with all the people there. you made a Plan, and it came true. I think that's so awesome. Great job guys
The camp out is a great idea, and love Dave's enthusiasm! No hesitation! Jeff, if you all are going to have a clinic on how to fly a drone, you might let one of the girls be in charge of that! Lol. Hope you're not in too much pain!
Sounds like fun but we have plans already and not sure we'd be allowed over the border without the jab anyway. Look forward to seeing the vlogs about it.
What a fabulous idea! It would be an amazing adventure. It’s just a couple of days flying from Oz, very tempting. Plus meeting and doing wood work with Dave. He should so start his own channel. I would need to hire a jeep but that’s doable. Would love to come n See Canada 🍁!
Jeff , Rose and gang. You are truly blessed. You live in a very beautiful place, your homestead and surrounding area, I envy you all. You have neighbors that are more than just neighbors. Extended family is a better name. Most of us only know the people next door by name. You all have a wonderful life. I would absolutely love to come to your camp out in the woods, really wish I could, but I have to make “the man” more money than I’ll get. Lol. Hope you have a great turnout. Cheers
You will be manning the pig spit/and probably alot of setup. Y'all just work, work, work. Rose is an Angel, the girls are solid as Rocks. Dave well he is is DEEP tinker.
That is such a fabulous idea. If I were a few years younger I would definitely do it. I don’t have the health now but I do think there’s many like minded people who would jump at the chance to do it.
It is great to watch y'all get out like you have been doing. It is very tiring to hike in deep snow. It's been 50 years since I waded through heavy snow in Canada. So glad y'all are all doing well.
Peppernuts! A big family favorite in our clan. Usually made at Christmas time. My brothers and I all moved away from S. Alberta to various parts of the continent, but small traditions like making Peppernuts went with us. Love your channel! Thanks..
We're going to try and make it work. We're homeschooled too and I'm sure this will be covered (workshops at least). We always head to BC every summer, and May is usually the time we go anyways. ☺
Us too! Our problem is lack of gear and who will watch our homestead while we are gone. ;) We will see what we can come up with. Keep us all posted on how many spots remain. (Ya'll might have to build another tiny cabin that sleeps 6 and rent out "workshop weekends" a couple times a year. ;)
Sounds like a blast ….sadly we r currently in Niagara on the lake , n won’t b out ur way for a few months . Fingers crossed u guys have another cool event happening in the near future . We would love love to meet u r family . 😊 Cheers to sharing ur beautiful journey
How many beautiful daughters do you have they all favor mother you're very lucky man God bless all of you I'd love to do your campout that I'm a little on the older side been watching you guys forever thank you I just can't remember all the girls how many there are thank you Tony D
HI jeff & family Love the campout idea and I hope it's a go.. medical situation for this senior prohibits venturing far. I have enjoyed many a wonderful experience in similar venues..multiply say mile horseback rides with up to 40 riders and 50 mile rides with children participating . Your's will be epic for sure. One thing you mentioned in your video about Rose cooking for everyone.. my unasked for advice is to have a cook crew who is dedicated to 3 meals a day...mug up at night.plus the garbage..prep and cleanup each day. It is a fulltime job my friend. All the best Edgil
i shale be their in spirit son. if not in person given my condition i will be toning in on the day & join you at the camp sigh. if that's ok , Les &Jan . the Dislexcea is a bit on the sniffy Sid today i apologies Les . have a present Non birthday today . LOL
I was so excited to see a new Gridlessness video! I got real worried when I saw the title that Keziah was the one with the accident. Then again, it couldn't have happened to her because she knows the difference between "near" and "far". haha I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was Jeff.
Sounds fun!! Not sure we can make it, but will look into it. We are over on Vancouver Island building our own off grid property on a huge lake (our RU-vid channel is The Samurai Carpenter). Your channel is our 4 boys favourite to watch!! We homeschool as well and are inspired by how you are teaching and training your girls for life! If you guys ever want to come for a holiday to the island you are more than welcome anytime at our little off grid waterfront spot!!
Y'all are beautiful people and the real experience, would be meeting y'all. Great video and a great way of inviting everyone! I'd go in a heartbeat if I was in better shape... Lol
Probably get a good heavy built plastic sled and you can kneel on it and kick yourself around. It worked for me anyhow when I was young enough to do it. It was a hollow plastic sled and it would move like crazy across the snow.
Awe we have our first sheep lambing in May. That's be so amazing to come though. I wish you all the best and will be thinking about you from our off grid farm in Manitoba. Maybe you can come visit us some day. We'd love to meet your family. 😊❤️
Another Great Video from my favorite offgrid family! Really wish I could make it the 3 or 4k miles up to meet you all but i doubt they would let me in. I know it would be a great time though and well worth it!
Jeff, you need real snowshoes! Try a pair of 12x60 Ojibwa's or maybe a pair of 14x48 Huron style snowshoes, my best friend has feet almost as big as your snowshoes and he doesn't float on top of the snow! great video as usual, I hope your campout is a success.
The camping trip sounds amazing. My daughters and I are going to try to work out the logistics and finances to be able to come. Heading south for May sounds amazing.
Totally up our alley. A continuation of what we do anyways just maybe with a bunch of cool people. May??? Someone brought up a good point; yes school isn't out yet then. Hum!
