This whole project turned out amazing! I love the pop of color! Honestly the moment you admitted the frustration was the moment I hit subscribe! I love honesty because we have all been there at some point in our DIY journeys! And I personally have found the more tears or frustration I have had over a project, in the end I stand back and look think WOW! I did that! Sometimes admittedly it’s more of a hmm maybe it’s better if no one see’s this 😉 Most of the time I’m excited I was able to finish through all the frustration. Often times people just show what they want others to see, which is absolutely fine, I also think it helps so many of us out here to see real people doing real things & telling their audience the mistakes as well as the their successes. It’s so much easier to relate. I’m also an avid crafter & would love to see the organization within the craft closet! It really turned out great!
Girl, it's seriously funny you say that, because I was originally going to leave all that out to streamline the video, and my boyfriend is the one who told me to include it! 😅 I'm glad I did, because I agree with you, honesty and relatability is so important when it comes to content! We don't see enough of the real life DIY fails, haha!! Thank you so much for subbing!! 💜💜
Miss Annie your welcome! I just wanted to say I was watching a few other videos and yours kept popping into my head, I personally think you have it nailed it as far as finding that balance. I’m a very visual person, but sometimes videos can be to long. I also understand everyone is different & has their different learning curves. For videos like this I thought it was just right. Honestly shout out to everyone who puts time & effort into getting in front of a camera & then editing I know that’s a lot of work! I’m thankful that there is a platform for us out here to learn from!
I am a avid crafter and I am downsizing to a a small apartment and am losing my crafting area. I am grateful for your video. I have only one closet to store my supplies and found your video very helpful. Thank you.
Love the color and coordinating accessories! And this would be something that would happen to me....not measuring and having to start over because I am too impatient and just wanna get it done! Great job!!
Wow what an awesome idea. I think I’m going to transform our closet. Thank you so much for the tips about the placement. I know I would’ve been so frustrated. It came out amazing thanks for sharing and have an amazing evening
Looks beautiful 🌷 I am a professional craft-hoarder”. 🙃 Craft-hoarding always starts in a closet. LOL! I, too, collect box/packaging for inspiration and future use. I’m considering doing a video series on the complete makeover of my craft room. You have given me some great ideas. If you have not already gotten rid of the items that you chose not to keep, you might consider doing a giveaway of those items - one crafter’s trash is another crafter’s treasure (same for those who DIY). Great video. Thank you for the inspiration!🌷
@@MissAnnieB sorry! Been a crazy summer. Halfway thru pregnancy and trying to line up new jobs for the very end as my current one ends in a few weeks. Hard to find a nanny job when you will be like 28 weeks when you start 😂 but all is calming down now, so I'll be back around more! I have some catching up to do!
That's not a bad idea for some of them for sure! But a many of them I like to physically keep because I like to reference the materials and print finishes. I am a very tactile person. 😊😊
SPOILER ALERT Oh you poor girl!!! I feel horrible for you having had to take it apart and redo!! Just awful. Loving your paint colour. Fabulous job! I'm so subscribing to your channel! I love that you do all the DIY yourself. It's extremely awesome.
You did an awesome job thank you for the inspiration I have three closets I'm going to make pretty pretty! :-) I love the pop of color every time you open the closet yes . I just found you and I subscribed and tap the Bell 😁😄
I don't mean to be nosy but I thought y'all were renting this house? If so do they mind you doing renovations and altering things? Love the colors! My bedroom had blush pink accents and my office is coral pink/peach accents. I love these girly colors😍
Hi Annie! Another inspirational video for me. Do you remember where you purchased the white (with some design details) storage bins? You used them on the bottom shelf. Thanks!
Thank you for posting this! I’m planning to put the algot system in my new craft space. Can you tell me the minimum distance you can put between each self please? We don’t have an Ikea close so I’m doing everything online - kind of nervous about it 😬
Adjacent shelves share the same bracket. Make sure you use this: www.ikea.com/us/en/planner/algot-planner/ It will tell you exactly all the pieces you need to order!
Love it , can u come do my craft closet lol. It a bit bigger than yours lol. Thanks for sharing. I need to organize my craft closet this Friday. My day off lol
ResetEDU hahaha, I’ve had them for like 6 years now - I scooped them up at an Elmhurst estate sale! They’ve been painted silver, then black and I’ve been trying to figure out a place for them to hang in the kitchen!! If they never find a good spot in my house, he can have them. 😂
Annie I'm a new subscriber and I am a crafter I'm have been watching many reorganizing video's and have lot's of idea's however I live in a small apt. Any suggestions Blessing
Thank you so much!! 💜 My suggestion for organizing in small spaces is to keep all your crafting stuff together in one single location (whether that's a closet, cabinet, cupboard, etc) so you don't have everything scattered in different places; and to put lots of thought into maximizing your space to the full potential. Add extra shelving, hang baskets, think about how you can add storage to wall space and door space as well. 💜💜xoxo
