Years ago I used my hall closet as a sewing room. My husband built a table top, it was great because I could sew anytime I wanted. If company came I just shut the door.

Living vicariously through you. We had to move during this pandemic (didn’t want to!) and ikea’s shipping is so delayed in our area we are having to wait weeks and weeks. There are many more problems in the world, so I’m not complaining, but I’m glad to be able to watch someone else organize while I can’t!

It turned out so pretty! If you feel extra bored you could project the pattern of the wallpaper onto the wall and line it very lightly with a pencil and paint over the lines with white wall paint :) then you would have the exact pattern but diy-ed it ;)

So cute! I would give that monstera plant a mosspole for it to climb as it is kinda floppy the way it is now. I think the extra height would fill in that blank space beside the TV nicely. Love your videos.

I know I'm a while late to finally watching this but thank you so much for this, I'm giving a mini-makeover to my boss's office and I love the ikea pegboard system! My lovely boss is a counselor who works with a lot of kids and teens and continues to work hard during the pandemic. She works out of an older building that came furnished with some dated pieces - desk, table, shelves, etc - and I work in her office opposite days of her during this time so I'm going to give her a lil surprise makeover =) It won't be as big a change as this but it'll certainly add some much-needed organization to her life (one of the main reasons she hired me!) and brighten up her desk. Thank you Alexandra!!! Your videos are a highlight of my week.

I love how you said if you feel like doing stuff do it but if you feel like laying on the couch then lay on the couch !!! I do a little of both 🥰 I absolutely love the office it’s fresh and very cheerful I’m so glad that you did that !! One tiny thing I would move that basket on the floor to the left side instead of the right because you can see it from the left better in your pictures and because the door is on the left it would give you more foot room on the right side if that makes any sense to you 😬 keep ‘em coming Alexandra !!😎

so much better with the paint background, the color is great and without a pattern so your board and office things are the decor, which is so pretty. love how everything ties together. if you feel you need more task light, i found these new generation led pop lights that go under a shelf, and it can either be attached with a screw, included or command strips also included. bright light in a small, movable, and rent friendly package.

Great video! You always make everything look so easy and beautiful. I have been thinking of redecorating my whole house (30+ years old). There are 2 things that I have meaning to ask you and your friend DIY Danie about. First I think you both need to get together and create a book on what you both do best. I turned an old entertainment center (very small with 2 small doors on front ) and took doors off and added a small curtain and now my cat uses that and no1 ever knows where it is because its in our coat closet.. love how you added a little kitty door!

I love it!! And the door is SO much better now! The tv frame is too-I kept looking at it thinking...is that the tv becuase before the black frame was too much w/ all those other lighter colored frames & yep, same tv new border. I also loved that banana leaf wallpaper from the first time you turned it into the office-so sad it didn´t work out. But this is beautiful too & more minimal/streamlined w/ other decor than the wallpaper office was.

You inspired me with your previous video on the cupboard office and I turned my huge kitchen cupboard into a mini office. Very useful while I have to work from home. I do need some inspiration about the lighting though, it can be a little dark sometimes. Thanks for the uplifting video.

I don't think I ever said thank you for your first video about your closet office inspiring me to do the same with mine. It's doing double time as a closet and an office, but I realized it was such a ridiculously BIG space for clothes for one person and I hated having an office corner in my bedroom. Rethought my organization, reduced my amount of clothes Marie Kondo style (haven't regretted it, realized I had way too many clothes), and moved my desk right on in. It's like I just made another room, plus I can shut the door on my work when I'm done. This has been particularly useful now that I'm working from home. I love it.

Hey, this was a great little quarantine makeover! Love it! I liked it with the banana leaf wallpaper too, but now it’s like office closet improved version 2.0, simple, tidy, and elegant. Great job! I would like to see you use it more though... Also, I know you have doors there, but I would suggest putting those cables out of the cats’ reach. You never know when they are going to decide to bite through those... believe me, it happened to me out of the blue, so now I am always careful where I put them. ❤️

I am getting super inspired to makeover my office space at home, since now I have been using it full time preparing lessons and grading assignments! I want to make it cute and peaceful for when I have live instruction time with my students. Great redo of that space Alexandra, I'm loving that soft peachy pink, so girly yet not too girly. I love how it is simple and so organized with that peg board, super cool. Thanks for this video, since I am an essential worker I have not been isolated like so many people, so when I do get time I have been organizing and getting rid of things I no longer need or want. It's very liberating to get things organized and make the space look better. Most of my space is small since I live in a house that is less than 800 square feet, but lately I have been having a great time cleaning and organizing things, I will be painting my walls which should really change the look of things and for sure brighten the room. Nicely done. I love the pink on the walls and the closet door, it makes the door stand out from the wall. I have been doing some major spring cleaning and re-organizing on and off. (So I don't get too tired all at once). I have also taken time to just relax, watch some TV and online videos. I have started clearing some shelves in my closet. (Did the kitchen and bathroom).
