well that's a pretty looking room/office , but only thing caught my eyes is the wooden frame , IMHO it could be painted with turqoise or light grey could make it even perfectly balanced :)
They are uncomfortable, we unfortunately have them in our office 😅 Ours also have this Eames Chair Shell, which is not really made to sit a longer time on it.
I think it's because curved monitors distort the image, so when it comes to video or photo production, what you see on the monitor might not be very accurate.
NukeNSyn not really. I mean pewds’ chair isn’t that great but it’s still much better than those two. I just don’t understand how you can seat on something as small and stiff like this for your whole working day without permanently hurting your back.
The main reason I love D2D vids are because of the clean and tidy feels of Dave's work environment. Unlike linus or austin that looks not messy but not as clean as Dave's ....somehow Dave turned the boring white color palette into a neat and tidy look... Without the help of RGB..
Abdulaziz Nasiruddin also, hows gaming on the xps 15, both this and the vivobook pro have the same cpu and gpu, so they should have the same performance
Sina K well you can't do gaming properly without the full set of keys, honesty gaming is good as I can run Battlefield 1 on medium/high settings and get a decent framerate but the thermals man
I've never understood why RU-vidrs archive all their footage? How would anyone organize all that well enough to actually reuse later? It seems to me that it's be easier just to shoot new footage. I'm not a RU-vidr, so I assume they know better. I've just never been able to make much sense of it.
AbuBakr Akram folders for each project they work on? It is hard to shoot footage of a product you don't have anymore. Not every youtuber has a warehouse like Linustechtips. It also takes time setting up the lighting.
I have desks of this size made entirely from wood, stuck to the walls. Everytime i want to game or use a laptop, everything must be put aside on the bed/drawer
The monitor should be at least 50 cm away from your eyes. People with bad vision (like myself) usually getting glasses to be able to see better. Anyway it is impossible to see anything on the edges of that LG UltraWide display, unless you have a big-big throat :D Honestly, these desk don't even have place to put your hands on. Man, these desk are even smaller then my commode..
*I'm so Sad!* I was gonna buy the Acer predator helios 300 during a sale. I was so sure that they would give great discounts and was ready. But they gave me 5% discount on the variant I was lookin at, which was practically nothing... Now I'm gonna have to wait for September till the next sale. Goddamn it
The desks seem to lack depth that make the whole setup look uncomfortable to use. From the looks of it, you must be sitting real up close to the monitors and have no place to rest your wrists while typing.
Hey, if u put a Picture or something similar above the "docking Station", it would look more colourful and more like "its my room, my things, my style". So i would do it, cause the wall is emty and thats just me, but its a tip! :D Like ur vids!
You need to invest in some herman miller chairs Dave, they will give you long-term comfort and health benefit, far more important than the keyboard, screen and mouse :)
Doesn't the desk seem to shallow? So monitor would be to close to your face and there's no where to rest your forearms. The setup it super aesthetic tho 👌👌
Hi Dave, question, would you still recommend the Mac Pro over the new iMac Pro? Content I plan to use it for would editing 4K video and photo editing. Thank you
You can have more and more pc XD they all found their usefullness :D but basically 2-3 is probably best if you are content creator, do information techmologies kimd of stuff and game from time to time
Hey Dave! I really need your help... So I'm searching for a notebook to program on. So what I need is something with at least 8 GB RAM (maybe something that you can upgrade, since I do several things at once), a full HD display (tell me whatever you want but you see the difference), a decent keyboard and at least Intel core i5 (please 15"6). My budget is at most 800€. What I don't need: a dedicated graphic card, good speakers, a DVD drive, numberpad, touch So this is what I found: Dell Vostro 15 5568 & HP 250 G6 3DN13ES What do you think is better for me? Do you have something else that would be a good fit?
3:20 unless by "competitive" you mean tournament-with-prize-money level of competitive, then wireless mouse and keyboard ARE FINE. The player skills matter, those things, barely at all, unless you're Korean StarCraft player, playing StarCraft I guess.
Hey Dave! Big fan here. I was just wondering if you could do a video on good budget/cheap 1080p monitors (available globally) for Content Creation, because I’ve recently delved into Graphic Design and my laptop’s cheap TN isn’t doing me any good. Colours go bizarre when I print my stuff. Please do a video!
