If you’re wondering why I played Overwatch and not some other more graphically demanding game. Do we even have a $1000 laptop that has performance as close to this? In terms of graphics..... maybe not (yet). In terms of cpu..... maybe yes, when the upcoming Intel 12th gen cpu comes out. But I dont think the price would be exact $1000. Maybe 1300~1600.

@@ddaarrkknneezz Intel is a mistake at this point. A $999 macbook air or even cheaper iPad with M1 toasts this predator 21X on CPU, memory speed and bandwidth, storage speed and capacity (at a price). Graphics is of course still great on the predator but it doesn't support RTX, so it's quickly outdated for gaming and thus a pointless $9K exercise at its core purpose.

Storage and ram would be the only thing that can be upgraded in laptops. Unless they made it where you can replace the motherboard as well besides the cpu and graphics card. 64gb ram is sufficient even by todays standards.

Now 6 years later im watching this on a laptop with specs that blow this out of the water and I'm sure will be obsolete in the same amount of time. Crazy how technology evolves through time. If anyones curious my laptop has a RTX4050 with 13th gen i913900HX that runs at 5Ghz, 1TB of SSD and 64GB DDR4 of RAM with dedicated fans for GPU and CPU... in a laptop. The laptop in this video was my dream years ago.

Best choice I've ever made! Sure I had to sell my two room apartment, my car, my family, my dog and even one of my lungs but it was so fucking worth it!! I now sit outside in the cold next to a dumpster but this badboy still has 15% battery and I can't wait to play another round of minecraft!

I feel like a laptop this powerful is just unnecessary because money like this can be saved and used for later laptops that probably outperform this one and cost less. Also, I would never feel safe taking this laptop anywhere, so I would leave it at home. Therefore, a desktop, that is probably cheaper and better-performing, serves me the same purpose.
