Do they sell my browsing information or any of my info? You gotta make a very wise decision on who you decide to use for VPN. The reason is because some 'free' and even some paid VPNs are selling all your data to the highest bidder. This is bad because a VPN gets every single packet of your internet use in order to do what it does, redirect all of it to a virtual private server and wash your IP address. Be safe guys

So I have a story that happened to me, and this is a CRAZY story: So I have autism as well. Back when I was 15 (I am over 25 years old now), I was out jogging in my neighborhood to get some exercise when all of a sudden, a police officer drove by, got out of his car, and confronted me. He accused me of stealing items from a parked car, and didn’t want to show me proof that I did it. I told him many times that I didn’t steal anything, but he kept insisting that I did. I felt afraid of him because he towered over me. Plus, I have social issues and a stuttering problem. Anyways, he got my information and then it got really weird… He wanted to know where I lived and “needed” proof that I lived there. I wish I knew my rights at the time, but I didn’t. I wish I had the education back then to know what my rights were. So I felt forced to let him in. My dog tried to attack the officer, and I saw the cop reach for his gun. Me being the selfless idiot I am covered my dog to protect her from any harm. The officer didn’t shoot. No one else was home when I came back home, but the TV was on and there was dinner made on the stove. The officer asked me “Who’s cooking?!” I told him “No one.” I wanted to record him, but he threatened violence against me. I was so afraid. After he left my house, I called my mom immediately to take me to the nearest police station to tell them what happened. I was crying. The officer showed up there. After the officer saw me crying, he then tried to accuse me of being high on drugs just because my eyes were red from crying. I told him “I was crying, you idiot.” After that whole day, the officer was fired. I am glad karma got to him, but it didn’t change the fact that I feared him so much. I told myself to get educated on the law and my rights after that and to never fear any bad cops ever again.

@@Dowlphin I have experience with small town municipal government, and one thing to know is that they often have high-turnover, since new employees are usually middle-aged secretaries who just got a basic business certificate, so they spend a year or two in a small town office until they gain enough experience to work in a city office. These types often screw up everything in the office, especially by firing lifers in the office and replacing them with minimum wage employees because, on paper, that looks like fiscal saving (for the short term, until the actual work backs up because nobody knows what they are doing). And since they don't have ties to the local community, they just pack up and move when offered a better job elsewhere, leaving their mess behind. I grew up in a small town here in Canada and I knew one clerk who basically ran the entire town for 40 years. Then some outsiders took over the office and forced that clerk into early retirement, which really hurt their pension. Then whenever I would go in that office, I would see 6 employees literally standing around, looking for things to do because they were so bored. They would even occasionally phone that old clerk up, saying they will pay them peanuts to come into the office for a day and train these people in how to actually do anything job-related. Then after the administrators piss off everybody in town by gauging taxes, they then move away. I bet they put "hiring manager" on their resume though.

Him cutting her off, asking to speak to someone else and telling her she doesn’t have sound understanding of the situation, even if he was right, is naturally gonna escalate things. You can be correct, but if you take measures to insult people while proving your point, is that helpful for anyone? Even if you’re irritated, there is no excuse for being disrespectful. “Will I get a ticket if I park my car in a certain spot for over two hours?” Basically this was his concern and if he had said this very clear and concise statement, most likely she would have been able to solidly say “Yes.” or “No.”

In some states, it is illegal to NOT have ID on your person at the point of police interaction. While in public, you are required to be identifiable, one way or another. As a federal employee, same applies on federal property. No I.D.? No access. Same in voting booths in a lot of states. If on your private property, then you are not required to have I.D. @SomeKata
@SomeKata 2 года назад
@@david2869 "Stop and identify" is a misnomer for the fact the call itself is prepared as evidence in Missouri. They know who you are before they stopped you, they don't just 'stop and identify'. It's the same as other states, just that the call itself can be used as suspicion of a crime, meaning the officers can immediately request ID on contact(as long as it's presumed there is suspicion of a crime, AKA the phonecall). The idea is there is already an established connection, you aren't just being 'stopped'. You're literally being detained for suspicion of a crime, prior to meeting the officers, and are required to ID. Other states find this type of law to be unconstitutional, and so the call is not considered enough to be reasonable suspicion in most states. Either way, it works the same, and there must be evidence of suspicion of a crime, the only difference is if the first call to police counts as evidence. Regardless of that statute, these officers would have to reasonably explain how the call about a man asking for info about parking constituted criminal activity, before they could ID him, phonecall or not. Missouri, or not. This would be laughed out of court in Missouri, regardless of being identified, just like the man stated. There needs to be a god damned articulatable crime. A vague phonecall is not sufficient enough, even in these other states where phonecalls can be used as evidence. If the phonecall instead stated he was being violent(true or not), he is legally allowed to be ID'd, but it's a hardsell that he was being 'irate' and he also filmed the entire interaction, making it a mute complaint. He has plenty of evidence he was not being disorderly and that it was a false police report. The amount of investigation to avoid this arrest is minimal, and so the police are at large fault.

It took two years for my charges to be dropped, and only after I refused every deal they tried to throw at me. I'm not an idiot, I knew how horrible their case was. He could have done a much better job articulating his problem to the reception. Walking up to someone with a go pro pointed at them and saying, “I’m confused about the 2 hour parking at library”, is a confusing situation in itself. What’s confusing him about the 2 hour parking? Why does he have a camera? What is the context of the question? Of course he was within his rights to act as he did but a reasonable person would be confused by his actions. If he had asked the receptionist if he would be ticketed for parking longer than 2 hours with the same clarity he did the officer’s, this whole thing could have been avoided. The officer’s are clearly out of line but he didn’t help himself. His conduct and manner of speech towards the receptionist could have provided reasonable suspicion for public intoxication.
