It's not. Attempted murder is the intentional harm of another person. In these cases, the charges filed don't sound very impressive unless the victim dies. Then it's manslaughter. We can't file charges based on your feelings.
Hitting a person by accident is not attempted murder. It is not even a crime if you weren't drunk. People make mistakes. The horrible thing she did was leave the scene instead of jumping out of the car to assist the guy and calling an ambulance. I hit a person by accident, was charged with careless diving and I lost my license for 9 months. After that, I could only drive work related for another 9 months. Also, I had to pay $ 3500 to the government, do 60-hour community service, and attend safe driving courses. I drive like an old man now.
He literally says "shes facing two FELONY charges of reckless driving with serious bodily injury and leaving the scene of an accident involving serious bodly injury", you just wanna be mad about anything today haha

The shown video is from *before* the police told her about the accident. She is not being indifferent or uncaring. She is unaware of what she had done. She was in jail March 26-30. After seeing evidence of her car, she probably confessed to the obvious. She has a pre-trial hearing June 28, 2021. Then you might witness her body language or reactions to her monumental mistake of driving while black-out impaired. This clip is way too short. Leaves out much of the story. What happened to the victim is tragic. And how this mistake will punish her life is sad. (Court starts in June, and she was already jailed three nights in March)

Those parking management people were the true heroes of this story. They saw something that looked suspicious, and instead of ignoring it they did the right thing and reported it.

Just looked the story up; she only got probation for running this man over in March 2021. She got in another DUI car crash that same year just 6 months later in September 2021 while still on probation. Wasn't given any prison time on that one either. Her name is Katherine Colabella, or Kitty Bella.
That's totally strange: you commit ANY infraction while on Probation, let alone the SAME crime, you're directly to jail, don't pass go, don't collect. Her "condo" and that Mercedes must be owned by a lawyer "client". EVEN for Florida thats' over the top. There was one similar accident where the victim was hit by the car and the victim was stuck in the windshield and the woman drove home. She tried to claim she didn't notice the guy stuck in her windshield.

Her lawyer will say she was not under control of her sense of responsibility because alcohol, drugs or shock. Most important that she was not tested long enough to detect how high the dosis really was.

Like for example, getting hundreds of cases to go through in one night and having hundreds of vehicles towed which delays making one single connection in one of those hundreds of cases.
I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

A neighbor and high school classmate of mine got hit by car while he was on his bicycle in Philly and ended up dying in the hospital. The driver was never found. It’s interesting just to see what these animals do after refusing to stop and act as if nothing occurred. I expect the judge to give her 20-25 to life.
Im retired and ride a bicycle 10 miles a day to help with my genetically high cholesterol. Everyday I witness people running stop signs or looking down at their phones and running off the road. It’s so dangerous to be on a bicycle in this day and age. Sometimes I think it’s safer to live with the high cholesterol then do cardio.
@@onionhead5780 that's why I switched over to mountain biking. No cars to worry about and the climbs on bike are a great workout. Only thing is it's pretty dangerous, but given the choice between crashing on my own vs some one in a car crashing me, the choice was easy.
