yeah they probably couldn't even make fabrary obsolete even if they wanted, the site is insane if they can have their own tool for decklist entry, rules text and general overview of the cards that's very good and if it's meant to also be a direct reference to 3rd party pages that's probably helpful as well so overall a W fabrary is core to my FAB experience though philip is the mvp

It’s crazy to me how the people in the comments don’t understand how important the “true text” is. there have been so many changes to card text that as a judge or player you kinda had to know off the top of your head, and now you don’t. you can just look up the card and find the most up to date text. Fab db and fabrary not only don’t do that but can’t do that because they don’t know the true text, now of course they could update their website now to add true text, but it because LSS made this database. For example of how things went before this database; if you wanted to know what runechants actually do, you got to first know that there was an errata then go to the errata board and search through all the 8 errata pages to hope to find it. If you forgot that there was a change, you could be playing or judging wrong.

.webp files are so annoying having to edit and resave it as a .png to be able to actually use it elsewhere...

Interesting. Not gonna lie though. LSS reminds me of the old guy trying to relate to young people meme. They try their best to understand but never quite get it right the first time. But it doesn't stop them from improving.... eventually. "People like using online catalog/deck builders, let's give them that as well. Err... anyone know how to website?"
