I started playing last year, but unfortunately the scene died out within reasonable driving distance from me and that was pretty heart breaking given how much I enjoy FaB. But the FaB community is finally making a comeback in my area. I got to go to an Armory even this week, had a blast with my budget Fai deck, and can’t wait to see the game grow more.
I know exactly how you feel. I started two weeks before Outsiders. Within three months of me picking the game up, the only store within a 60+ minute drive of me closed. None of the other six or so LGS in my area are willing to stock it.
They need to stop the whole we only play in person crap and drop a video game already. Its 2024 we can’t capture the card shop feels of the late 90s and early 2000s anymore.
Would love videos on how to pilot the blitz precons, but even more than that, videos with upgrade suggestions for certain price ranges, how to upgrade the deck little by little, and also how to convert it into CC. The main challenge I face as a casual player is to up my game from precon level to stronger blitz lists without breaking the bank on equipments that cost way more than I'm willing to invest for my current level of commitment with the game. I basically either see competitive blitz lists going for 500+ dollars, or Commoner. It's hard to find an in-between where I'd feel comfortable with a stronger list from precon that isn't just a tournament blitz list that breaks the bank, and I'd love some input for this kind of thing when/if you go through the precons!
I agree. Completely. I check out decks on Fabrary, which helps a lot, but decks seem to be either $10 or $700. There are a few that have steps or versions, and those are the best for helping me understand decks and deck building. Overall, FaB is a tough game to get into. By that I mean, get into enough to be competent. I don't aspire to be great, but just competent. And I'm finding that to be difficult.
Me and my gf just ordered the Kassai and Betsy decks along with two play mats. This is our first serious TCG game that we’re going to try. We’re a little Intimidated also excited. :)
@@connorstephens7467 you can play any deck as 4 player. These decks are balanced against each other though and the stadium armor works really well in this setting.
Congrats on hitting your subscriber goal! I'm seriously thinking about getting into FaB because I miss paper TCGs. I'm a long time MTG player but I've been playing that online lately. It looks like you'll be my source for FaB content haha, Cheers!
I’m still really new to that game I would love to see budget, blitz deck upgrades for some of the new characters and heavy hitters. It would also be kind of cool to see how to convert your blood deck into a classic constructed deck any tips or anything like that.
You should try Brevant sometime. He is like my third favorite guardian hero. As much as I support the local game store in person play, I would still love to see some official way to play online. All my friends live in other states and it is not possible to meet in person every time. There is tabletop simulator, but it makes teaching new players on it a bit more tricky than other online card games.
I have 2 LGS's that I go to more or less frequently, 1 didn't recive any Heavy Hitters Preocns and the other one sold out of Kayo, Kassai and Victor Day 1. They would be nice starting products, if there were any left for sale.
Legendstory Studios makes best. Proudly produced and created with passion. To bring all different kinds of people together through the common language of playing great games.
Welcome all newcomers!!! At my lgs and alot of others we will give you cards for free if you're just starting out. If you ask whoever is working directly alot of them have a free welcome deck for the Ira hero also! See you in the arena soon!!
I just bought my first blitz deck and am super excited to get into it. Luckily i have a place thats 10 minutes from me that holds events and stuff so here goes nothing.
Don't know why lss keeps pushing the competitive scene when that's the reason you can't find games outside of talishar. Precons are great until you realize you'll never win a game without spending absurd money
I definitely tried Talishar and now want to play in person lol. So you think the most efficient way to build my first Classic 60+ card deck is with a Blitz deck + singles? You just have to buy the adult versions of the heroes?
@@DMArmada Thanks for the reply! May I ask, how so? Do you mean more in self contained blitz decks, they are more fun/balanced, or would you say they are better because they give a better core for expanding to bigger decks? I only ask, as I'll probably not be expanding beyond the blitz decks myself, so just looking initially for two decks to play against each other for some fun matches while me and my housemate learn the game We normally play Yu-gi-oh/MtG, but never got round to giving F&B a go!
Hello I am just learning about this game and I was wondering would it be possible to construct the original four decks from buying a booster box or two?
didn't like Round the Table. Brevant is dumb and I really despise the artwork depicting Bullfighting on bard's deck. Incredible bad taste and ignorant. Blitz are the way.
I wanted to get into FaB however the heroes I really wanted to play are either a Living Legend (Ice Lexi), and the other is probably going to be LL pretty soon (Dromai). I am a rare mix of a competitive player that also wants to like his deck (hero in this game), so probably a bad timing for me to start FaB right now .. I think the LL system is really genious but the downside for me personally is that if I really like the specific hero, them reaching LL is a neck-breaker.
